    Great content, insider snippets into the club and how we're modernising always draws me in.
    That statement about Vieira asking for even 2% more from the nutrition at the start of the season was a great insight into how thorough he's been since the start and now it's really showing!

      Vieira learned a lot from Wenger when he was at Arsenal. Before Wenger everyone at every club ate steak and chips before a match.

      @Jimbo Jimbo 1 -2 % is fair.
      0.01 is very unambitious.

    considering this is supposed to be premierleague standard and the 1000s of £££ behind each club, this is entry level nutrional sceicne at best. I see no mention of food sourcing (ie organic, pasture raised, grass fed meats). The supplements look way too commercial which is usually a red flag.

    • @seadkolasinac7220
      @seadkolasinac7220 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      lmao the 'entry level' practice of a professional sports club, Premier League no less, isn't sophisticated enough for this guy

    • @michaelstein7510
      @michaelstein7510 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would assume there are tons of details like that which they didn’t include in the video, for brevity’s sake. If you’re curious about how professional sports teams feed their players, there are some great videos on TH-cam about how the New England Patriots and Washington Redskins feed their athletes, going into a high level of detail about the food sourcing and preparations. I’m sure Crystal Palace follows very similar practices and spares little expense.

    As a Nutritionist i'd recommend more Plant based Protein and getting more Carbs and Protein through Legumes like Lentils or Beans for faster recovery Phase than Animal Protein and more Carbs who give longer Energy.

    • @lx1714
      @lx1714 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as by "plant based" you don't mean vegan sausages, burgers or alt milk. Full of toxic seed oils.

    This is cool, only caveat is that you should get the nutritionist to talk about the supplements and such, a strength and conditioning coach is not at all qualified to talk about that. Totally different areas of study and qualifications that go with it.
