Ok, a 3 hour video about my favorite animated show? Im in. Even tho you did not seem to liked that much, i personally love Young Justice, is very special to me
Re: Failsafe - The team didn't "forget" they were in a training exercise, they were all linked via Meghan, and she overreacted to Artemis being 'disintegrated', thus trapping them in that 'reality'. Her mental link and abilities were subbed in for Scarecrow's gas.
That still means that they forgot because of her power in the mental link made them forget that they were in a simulation, it really could have just been done much better imo
How good is this show!? They cancelled it after the 2nd season, and fans waited and complained for 3 years until they brought it back! Now, we're clamoring for a 5th season! 😄😉
First two seasons were amazing. The last two felt like they try to put too much into each episode. Super fast paced and jumpy. But I feel that was more of the networks pressuring creators to finish. So yeah. Super fun if you haven’t watched it.
Superboy didn't get amnesia from the explosion, He got from being in the Phantom Zone for 6 months. The show's version of the Phantom Zone has "Zone sickness" which cause hallucinations and basic dementia, which rewrote Superboy's memories. That's why he and the other Kryptions were easily for Zod to manipulate. All through out Kaldurs arc we see Superboy lose more and more of his sanity as that arc each episode was in a different month.
It's funny because in the episode featuring Beast Boy and the VR goggles, there’s actually another episode of Teen Titans Go! that includes characters from Young Justice-Miss Martian, Superboy, and Aqualad. They were drawn that way as a playful jab at how serious Young Justice can be.
Ok so my personal head cannon is if we got a season 5 Black, Beetle, Mongul and Zod would escape and seek vengeance against earth but the Light ask Darksied for a favor and he fights the three of them and demolishes them! That would be a perfect way for the show to make Darksied out to be such a threat without him fighting the heroes as all three of those villains have been shown to be heavy hitters
Dude I love YJ. Even season 3 and 4, though I like the later 2 a little less but I don’t hate them. I caught the second to last episode of season 1 on tv when it was airing and I fell in love with the series. I watched season 2 later on dvd like a year or so later. I gotta say, my favorite character throughout the series was Robin/Nightwing. He was hilarious and so true to the comics.
I'm expecting for a new season just to know how they will finish Darkside plot. Also how about Jason Todd and Damian? It would be nice to see their development :)
Man I Loved This Show As A Kid! The First Two Seasons Especially, And I Still Have The Superboy Full Articulated 6 Inch Action Figure To This Day. One Thing That Made This Show Special Was The Fact That(The First 2 Seasons) Was Rated TV-PG. There Were Other Good Superhero Cartoons But Most If Not All Were Rated TV-Y7. This Meant Young Justice, Could Get Away With A Bit More Than Other Shows. PS:"Handel's Messiah" Popped Into My Head As Soon As A Saw The Video. Gonna Be A FUN Watch.
Arion wasn’t actually evil. They explain it in the episode. Orm/Ocean Master was revived in a cloned body of Arion and pretended to be Arion to control Atlantis on behalf of Savage, while they made a clone of Orm to be a distraction.
Dang, Green Lantern ( Hal Jordan ) is the only founding Justice League member that didn’t have any speaking lines in this series aside from rejecting Guy Gartner from joining the Justice League. Also random question how did you feel that the show changed Zantana into a teenager ?
" Superboy is acting kind of shitty" is the plot like, a lot of the time. I really enjoyed this show when it was first coming out, but I fell off the Resurgence and I don't think I've even seen the most recent season maybe I should check that out. I love the art because it makes me think of the 90s and 2000s DC cartoons, but I can see how you're tired of it now after every movie looking the same for the last decade
I know you probably won’t play it but there is an Xbox 360 era game called young justice: legacy. It explains most of what happens between seasons 1 and 2
I did actually hear about that game when doing some research on the show to see if there was just the show or if there were any movies or anything but you can't legally get the game anymore
It seems like you have a strong fascination with Darkseid, and I understand why-he's a compelling character. However, he's a character who doesn't lose often, so he’s usually only used sparingly. The writers of Young Justice are likely aware of this and are probably saving him for the final season. One of the points of disliking seasons cause he wasn't used doesnt seem fair
It's not just the fact that they didn't use Darkseid it's more the fact that I feel like the team aren't really facing any kind of villains that are a big threat. Since Darkseid doesn't really do anything in the series I mainly used him as an example of someone that could be a big threat but doesn't get utilised. The Reach and Vandal are the only two villains that feel like big threats in this show
Yeah, I'm a little confused why a lot of people want to "wrap up" Darkseid. He's an eternal evil. He's not a video game boss. The only being that could actually kill him is Orion.
The increased blood and gore in Season 3 of is due to the switch from Cartoon Network in the first two seasons to DC Universe for Season 3. At the time, studios believed that more blood and violence equated to a more mature show. It got old real quick especially since it was only halo
It arrived quite late, but I used up the fast mobile data and kept the slow ones, and I can't watch the video with 144p and stopping every 5 seconds. Speaking of the show itself, I'm confused. In my opinion it contains the best versions of Wally, Superboy and Dick Grayson (in my opinion) and the team is very good for its development and interactions. Then in season 2 Not only is the show no longer episodic, and in my opinion it was better when it was episodic, But by adding so many characters at once and also adding a time skip, not only does it not allow the new characters to evolve (Impulse, Beast Boy and Blue Beetle are the exception), but the new ones feel pretty flat. Especially Nightwing, Superboy and Zatanna, who barely appears anymore. I liked season 2 but felt it was downgraded. The ending is very good though and Kid Flash's death is the best moment of the show. Third season, here they are back from cancellation. They should learn from past mistakes and change the formula, try to finish the series, right? NO. Because again, the old characters either barely appear or don't appear at all. And what about that boring exposition that leads nowhere and just eats up time? And as much as I want to like the new characters, I can't. They're either flat or I don't even care about their subplots. I do appreciate the role of Nightwing and Artemis, probably their best season. Also the episode of the kids combined into a monster was pretty good and creepy. The last season is easy the worst one. The season divided into three stories that barely connect is a good idea. But when the Martian subplot is so bad and boring that I, the DC fan, have dropped the series about 5 times, it says a lot about the quality. The one with Klarion and The Child was the only one I cared about, as it reminded me of the first seasons. If it was all about that it would probably be my favorite. But oh well. And the last one is so forgettable that I remember almost nothing. Lastly what did this show do with Vandal Savage? The first season establishes him as the the big baddie, only for him to appear for only about 4 minutes in the second one and for the main villain to be someone else at the end, and in the third and fourth, although they gave us more context, he did almost nothing. These are my opinions on the show, the first seasons of the best of DC animated and the rest very bad
Oh fair enough, I have never seen Teen Titans so fair enough that I missed that. But yeah I know Black Spider is DC's version of Spider-Man but it's cool that they actually used a Spider-Man VA to voice the character
When when ursa got the eye of akron my first thought was "well everyone is dead I guess" she should be nearly unbeatable not only is she a fully powered kryptonian but wields one of the most powerful magical weapons in all of DC
I was kinda thinking the same thing but they really did nothing with it. Maybe they had plans for it in Season 5 but we will probably never know (I reckon we won't get a Season 5)
So dang I was kinda disappointed you didn’t like season one as much everyone as else. Season one is Proab my fav season so if you didn’t love it too much I have low expectations for the rest of the seasons
I'm about to be in the process of watching something, just preparing the intro and whatnot before I watch the show. I hint towards it at the end of this video
Opinions are opinions man, this show just isn't quite my cup of tea in regards to superhero shows. I definitely don't have anything against it and can see why people like it but I just don't think it's as amazing and people think it is

So that’s why the seasons came out so many years apart no wonder there’s a foggy part of my brain
Not to mention a video game tie-in.
Superboy didn't get amnesia from the explosion, He got from being in the Phantom Zone for 6 months. The show's version of the Phantom Zone has "Zone sickness" which cause hallucinations and basic dementia, which rewrote Superboy's memories. Well fair enough, I'm still not a fan of that personally with the phantom zone stuff but I don't mind the phantom zone stuff overall
That how Amazo looks in this comics
