No anime op.has ever encapsulated an anime MC as much as this one has. Tokyo Ghoul had the potential to be an all time great. I just wish those last 2 seasons werent so rushed.

They unfortunately rushed the actual anime but the manga is a masterpiece. One only hopes they reboot it under an actual actual company that will put a good budget into it.

Listen, do not listen to anyone else. Watch the show an draw your own opinions, I’ve seen hundreds of animes and personally Tokyo Ghoul is my favorite, it’s not perfect but it gives you everything you want and more. Especially the end of (yes season 3) it all comes together beautifully and satisfying in a way that I believe no other anime has. You’ll walk away feeling happy and fulfilled, and I think that makes it more than worth checking out.
Hunter x Hunter is positive, deep, action and fights which are genius not just power. Also one of the most touching sweet cry moments in anime history.
😂 People who recommend it usually forget about the consequences of watching tokyo ghoul. They only mention how great of a deal it is but never mention about the backlash it got after s2. Well I cannot change ur mind if u want to watch it but still, I would say looking for the reviews for an anime is also an important thing which most of the people don't do and then they regret watching that anime. I m telling this after a long experience in anime and manga.
I have a suggestion, please watch Glassy sky from Tokyo Ghoul, it's such a beautiful song it saddens me that there are not enough people reacting to it.
