If you really want to be pedantic, her official debut was on her 18th birthday, probably because it's better to be contracted as an adult than a minor.

I believe part of her character as a performer is that she has never shown her face, so this silhouette is the most you'll see for now. Amazing performance
Just to add, most we've seen of ado has been in the piano version of Usseewa where it's very unfocused, but just a silhouette
Without ever showing her face, I believe she is basically the face of japanese music at this point. Any style, every performance, just seems to be perfection.

Ado went from recording from her noise proofed closet to the top of the charts in japan in just a few years. Massive amounts of talent, technique, range and genre's covered and all self taught. My first exposure to Ado was from her, doing the whole OST for the One Piece anime movie named, Red. It was a musical so lots of different genre's in the OST all by her blew me away!

This live video of ADO moves people's souls so much that it brings tears to my eyes. (It's not sad at all) This is a moving emotion that goes beyond the song.
I really can't help but shed tears when i listen to this cover, the feeling ado puts into singing it reflects all the feeling that encompasses tokyo ghoul.

Ado's voice is incredible, and her versatility is something out of this world, anyone i have ever listened to is at her level on that matter
She did a whole cover album recently, I would really recommend listening/reacting to her cover of Aishite Aishite Aishite because as well as being a great performance it is vocally just insanely varied and really shows you the breadth of her control.
Ado is mostly known for her strong voice, certainly influenced by her debut piece Ussewa,
but she is someone who can sing in pretty much any genre especially shown by her One Piece Film: Red songs. Other songs by her that are more on the calmer side from her that I can recommend are "Ibara", "Dignity" and "Himawari".
her cover rly sounds like she felt the entire song. those screams where so unexpected, but they still give me goosebumps everytime I hear them.

I know that a lot of people asked for but i have to do myself too, she deserves the attention, so much talented and so young, there is a lot of songs that is truly amazing, she is known by doing so many different genres and do masterly, it’s really impressive how she just “boom”, one of the top artists of japan. I recommend these songs : Show, Tot Musica, Dignity, Backlight, New Genesis. By the way, i love yours reactions, I usually see when is a japanese singer because im huge fan of their music. Ado is very private person who rarely shows herself in public. She is a part of "gimmick" it's a group of Japanese singers who don't show their faces in public. Their motto or saying is "don't look at my face listen to our songs/music"

Finally Ado on your channel! I can promise finding her is start of an amazing journey, I’m in rabbithole of her music for like 2 weeks and I’m still amazed
Some recommendations what should you check next:
“Dignity” or “Where the wind blows” - if you want to check more of her “clear” singing
“Crime and Punishment” - a lot of emotions put in that one, probably most emotional song that I heard from her for now besides unravel
“God-ish” - besides singing, she also changes her voice there to the level of voice acting
“Show” - one of her newest songs, she uses amazing amount of styles there
“Ussewa” - if you want to check her first own song (before that she were doing only covers)
Also you can check “Odo”, it have similar vibe to “Show” which as an studio version I’ll recommend even more, but live version of “Odo” (that one from her official channel) is especially impressive, cuz as far as I know it was her second live show in life and she sang that as 24th(or something close to that) song that day

There are a lot of Techniques i didnt notice when i saw this.
But there was no one who point my fav part of this performance,which is the last part,"Oshiete"
"Oshiete" mean "Please teach me" in Japanese. It means that She is struggle where she is and who real her is in my opinion. And also I feel "WABI SABI" which is Thinking of Japanese common sence.

This song was so overplayed (rightfully so though) for the longest time. I always loved Unravel and only slipped into the "I can't listen to this song anymore"-exhaution by a little bit compared to others, but her cover has me listening to it on repeat. Just her amazing vocal talent and agility as well as her dexterity (?) in conveying emotions has me absolutely stumped 💙💙💙
She has a couple other performances. Her live performance of "New genesis". Its a one piece film red song that blew up a year ago. Not as much rock singing, but more of just a great overall performance. There is also "Show", which blew up recently and topped the japan billboard #1 for 8 weeks (and still going). Her live performance of that song is pretty good as well. She is a very versatile artist and one of the best vocalists in the world right now with her versatility and style. She debuted with a song called "Ussewa" when she was 17 and is now 21 years old. She is still young and already has such a massive resume of songs, so much so that she'll only grow bigger. This unravel cover I'd say is ado's most emotion-filled performance and It's (imo) the best unravel cover and the live version is on par with the original for me. Nice reaction!
Ado is my favorite vocalist of all time, her vocal control, range, strength, and versatility are INSANE. She does the singing voice of Uta in One Piece's Red Film, and all of those songs are absolutely incredible, I really recommend that you react to the live performance of New Genesis from the Red Film. She's awesome and does both original songs and covers. She debuted in 2020 with her song 'Ussewa' which hit the no.1 spot in Billboard Japan Hot 100. What's even crazier is she made Ussewa when she was 17. She's amazing, you should really check out more of her singing. Also a fun fact, she never shows her face! In all of her concerts, the room is lit in a way so we can only see her silhouette so she can remain "faceless" :)

Ado is one of the greatest artists I think i've heard as of late, and although some of her songs are original, covers like this feel so much more powerful or on par with the original. She's done an opening song for an anime SPY X FAMILY called "'Kura Kura", and her iconic "New Genesis" from One Piece.
Point is: You've just found a goldmine of an artist, and I couldn't be more excited for what you react to next!
I suggest her first pro debut song "Ussewa", "Himawari", "God-ish" (a cover, but insanely good) and another cover called "Bocca Della Vertia".

ado is a vocalist who sings VOCALOID songs called "utaite", but ado does not write or compose the songs. ado publishes original songs and cover songs on TH-cam. I think ado's versatility in singing all genres is top class in the world. I think another thing that is world-class is cover songs that add vocal arrangements to original songs. At ado's LIVE, he sings his own original songs with vocal arrangements that suit the large live venue, which is something I haven't heard anywhere else.
