Now that I think of it, Loki lived in the shadow of his brother and doesn't have a steady parental, trustful figure so all he thinks he has is his brain and wittiness, Peter *HAD* 2 parental figures, now he has trust issues, he's bullied at school but his grades are good bc he's a smart boy, his cope mechanism is cracking jokes and save lives while Loki's cope mechanism is messing with people and try to get attention, they don't have anyone to look up to but they developed their personalities differently, the way people saw them is the way they became, if the people in Asgard hadn't seen Loki as evil and if the people hadn't seen Spiderman as their hope/heroe, they wouldn't be what they are now.
