    You should be able to utilise your Aus RPL and get time with our NZ Microlight Certificate equivalent, rent from the plethora of clubs around the country and enjoy the scenery

    Awesome flight and cool experience, I did the same in the US to get some LH seat time! NZ now added to the list

      Thanks! I can’t recommend South Island of NZ enough! Such an amazing place. Also super keen to go exploring in the US soon too! Let me know if you’ve got any suggestions of locations to check out.

    Totally agree, congrats, your passion is obvious. My partner (PPL, she got me into flying) and I (RPL) have done similar in New Caledonia with seaplanes last year and we just returned from Europe where we did a couple of hours with Max Aviation flying over Umbria, Italy, including a quick landing to swap so we each sat in the left hand seat. Please keep posting and enjoying the journey. Rod
