Thanks, this was very helpful. Though I have let the panel hang loose, on the door. Then it is not necessary to remove the button insert from the side panel or any of the connectors. Saves a lot of time.

Great overview, I have speakers on inside, and it has heated mirror option. Is there trick to remove speaker and hook up mirror harness. Mirror was broken off damaging the wire and bracket.

There’s 1 screw (Torx T20) behind the door handle. You have to take off a small plastic cover off first.
Second is in the empty space at the bottom towards the end of the door.
