We raise highland cattle also, they do just fine without being fed grains. Ours also like to be brushed, well some of them. I didn't know that the pumpkins are good for worms, we always feed them the kids pumpkins after they are done. I will have to try and get extras from a local farm or maybe grow a patch.
chickens are even better for worms...just section up your fields a bit and move the cows and 4 days behind them run a mobile chicken hut and you will only have to deworm your cows 1x...the dinos will take care of the rest.
I really enjoyed watching this video. It was very well put together. Loved the sandwiches at the end. Yum can you imagine having that with a coffee. Highland beef is my favorite beef of all time.
I can't believe people are actually breeding these cows overseas, it Scotland they are pretty much a wild animal. Obviously, we do have breeders but the cows roam like wild animals.
All you have to do is send your animal to USDA butcher in my state but it is absolutely insane that it Hass to be done by USDA butcher. In Connecticut you were allowed to sell bulk like half and quarters cause technically you’re selling the cow and the consumer is supposed to pay for the cow not the butchering job
Highlander beef is the best beef I've ever eaten by a very long shot. I dare say it's even better than wagyu. Never had Kobe, but don't feel the need to. Highlander is supreme beef.
I raise Highland cattle and I love the meat that was the reason I got the breed originally the person I bought beef from Highland cattle, and I never wanted an Angus ever again
The Local South Scandinavian for High Land Cattle where Hippie-Cows for some reason I assume it was with the hair and the extraordinary gentle, docile behavior of even the bulls
you can actually make more money selling them for non beef production than to eat them by a long shot if you only have a small herd...i dont know how much you can make per year doing this but i know there are some small hobby ranchers that do just this.
My family was always involved in ranching so I am the first not to Own a ranch Earlier. I just started my own ranch, I look forward to expanding the ranch. I just called my C-r-y-p-t-o Investment Trader in charge of my C-r-y-p-t-o Portfolio to Liquidate $ 150,000 of my Profits. By January the Project will be in Completion. I'm so Excited .. I'm not doing it just for Profits, I just wanna do the Family thing.
This is the cattle breed we want when we get the land ❤
They are so cute omg

Man I love Highland cattle would love to raise some here in Colorado once I inherit my family farm lands.

I'm surprised. I'd love to see more of these. They would be a better choice meat than the breeds commonly raised here.
Not surprising since ranching basically began in Scotland.
Should make them great for regenerative farming.
Cutest coos ever!
We love our highlands!
How are they possessing the meat? To sell direct to the consumer is an USDA butcher necessary?

The Local South Scandinavian for High Land Cattle
where Hippie-Cows
for some reason
I assume it was with the hair and the extraordinary gentle, docile behavior of even the bulls
Too darn cute couldn’t raise them for meat they’d all be pets

nice
Should try steak pies with it 👍🏻
Got to be cut into proper meaty chunks though, delish
How could they slaughter them?!
Probably using a bolt gun connected to an air compressor.
I was thinking the same thing. I fast forwarded from them brushing them to him showing some frozen meat. It seems so incongruous and strange to me.
That's life
Those are definitely crossbred with long horns.
Pocket knife
get masks off!!!!!!!!
Keep your beliefs to yourself.

Yes. Also sometimes people like to have them on. No need to bash someone if they want to keep them on
Dang how do you go from showing us yall brushing the cattle's fur, to showing us the packaging of the meat? Lmao yall are cruel.
Cause cows r food and they have fur
It is called maintenance.
Deworming+ brushing out ticks and bugs+ hoof repair= basic animal care...
Where do you think the meat comes from?
You're 10ply.
dont worry they only slaughter the mean ones...
