    What if Filter is jam?

    • @Thesikhrider
      @Thesikhrider  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey bro!! Actually, I am confused about your filter being jammed. If your filter is jammed in the socket and you can't revolve and take it out. In that case, try to apply some force, it's just made of plastic, it should come out. Otherwise just break it and buy a new one.
      The other case would be if your filter is jammed due to dust in it. In that case, you can clean it by using a brush and water. Using petrol is best since Petrol is a cleansing agent. Otherwise, the only option left would be to buy a new filter bro. :)

      Hope you have dried your tank now. And also make sure that the tank cap is properly sealing the tank. Mostly water goes in during rain when tank cap is not sealing the tank properly.

    @ajaykaushik2272 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Excellent video friend! You have explained it in very simple terms.
    But, I didnt understand one thing. When you opened the filter, and turned the fuel on, the petrol leaked down.
    But, once you put the filter back, how is it that the petrol flows through the pipe to the carbuerettor?
    And, the filter is at the bottom right? How is it that the fuel gets filtered and does not leak into the cap, but goes back into the pipe?

    • @Thesikhrider
      @Thesikhrider  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for the appreciation @Ajay Kaushik...
      Actually the fuel filter cap is just a part of that fuel filter assembly. If you would see in a real bullet then the pipe is connected just above the cap I mentioned. So the fuel goes through the filter, fills the cap, the fuel which reached the top (by filling the cap) enters the pipe which goes ahead.
      And about leaking the fuel in the cap, well cap acts as a container for filtered fuel and when it gets filled then only fuel goes ahead.
      I hope this helps... :)

    Sir
    I had the same problem in bike. first I cleaned and after one week the problem occurred again.because I found that a kind of metal powder is the tank.then I put a piece magnet inside the filter. After that the problem did not came again.because the magnet did not allow to pass the metal powder to carburettor. Thanks friends

    • @Thesikhrider
      @Thesikhrider  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello N Gururaj Kamath,
      Actually these particles comes from the fuel tanks at the Petrol Stations. Those tanks are used everyday and without any process of cleaning. So these particles travel from those tanks to our bike fuel tanks as we fuel up our bikes. Because of that there is no good way of preventing this to happen.
      If a magnet can help you then that's very good and I hope that you never run into that issue again :)

      Depends on the silencer you choose. Don't go with typical annoying punjab long bottle. Go with something more technically accomplished. Goldie with glass wool is the best.

    • @Thesikhrider
      @Thesikhrider  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Shameem Jalal You cannot choose a bike on basis of 'when you want to ride', instead choose it for, where you want to ride. For city riding (bumper to bumper traffic) 350cc bullet is more than enough. For highway riding you can go for 500cc as you'll get more torque in that.

      The silencer I am using is Reverse Cone, so you can check TH-cam if you find a suitable review for it. And it costed my around 3k.

    Why over flow pipe petrol continue leak royal enfield classic 350 pls rpl

    • @Thesikhrider
      @Thesikhrider  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Try to park your bike at the main stand and not on the side stand. Notice the issue for two days, if it's solved then you know that probably your fuel tank is over filled. If the issue is not fixed then, there might be some leakage that you have to get fixed through a local mechanic.
      I hope this helps you :)

      During winters every bike faces some issue while starting. If you think that could be another issue then the best solution would be to get your bike checked out by a mechanic. He'll be able to take a much better look at your bike. :)

    Bro I am facing problem with my classic 350 getting loud sound like ( tik tik ) in my engine what the solution for this .......

    • @Thesikhrider
      @Thesikhrider  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bro there is no way to guess that problem on text. There can be a lot of things which can make that noise, so I would suggest you to take it to service centre or a local mechanic. Even I was getting some noise from my Bullet and that was due to tappet and so I adjusted that which fixed it. So your problem can be due to tappet or due to any other reason but, it would be better to be sure before you start to do anything on it.

    • @Thesikhrider
      @Thesikhrider  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Pranav Joshi Hello brother... With the information you have provided I think no one can guess the problem in your bike. Please provide some more details and then, I might be able to point the problem.

    • @pranavjoshi1042

      My bike does not start with self and sometimes even by kick starter.My bike also smells petrol and has starting problem when not used for long time.Thanks for replying

    • @Thesikhrider
      @Thesikhrider  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Pranav Joshi, there are some assumptions which I can make to help you.
      1. If your bike doesn't self start or sometimes give you problem with the kick start then, it means that the batter is getting weaker. You must ride the bike for at least one or two hours to get it properly charged. If it still shows problem then, there might be some wiring issue which can only be fixed by a mechanic.
      2. Since RE bikes have a ton of vibrations so nuts and bolts get loose and thus petrol leaks sometimes. You can tight up the bolts and it should avoid any leaks. Further more you should also park your bike on main stand as most RE leak when are on side stand.
      3. When every you start your bike after a long time it'll give you hard time to get started. The reason being that battery charge get's lowered and almost every RE faces the same problem. This might also be the answer to your first question so my advice it to ride it regularly or at least turn on the ignition for at least 5 minutes everyday. Finally, summers are almost here and starting your bike will get even tougher so be ready for it ;)
      I hope these points will help you. :)

    Bro what happen if it is not cleaned

    • @Thesikhrider
      @Thesikhrider  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      If it's not cleared and it gets blocked then the petrol will stop passing. Due to which the engine will not get petrol and your bike won't start.
      But this will only happen if your air filter is blocked by a lot of gunk.
