My apologies for delay in response. I was planning to use earlier but then was happy with my background so didn’t use. But I have other videos you can check it out that has modeling paste texture background.
@@preciousajibola699 you can, but you would need material that works on fabric Here is link on how to use paints on fabric Hope this help: plaidonline.com/folkart/folkart-premium-acrylic-paint/i-want-to-paint-on-fabric-using-folkart-acrylic-colors
Does the glue keep the ammonia in the paint (there is a small amount) from causing oxidization? Also, can I pain on top of the leaf? Or do I hvea to varnish then apply more paint then varnish again? Am thinking about a layer of thinned out medium and color over some of the leaf....
If you use the correct adhesive, there isn't any harm to color, & let it dry for 4-5 hours before using gold or silver leaves. You would require a few layers of paint if using over leaves. If you are trying to get some texture effect I would suggest using medium paste and not color over leaves. Hope this helps, and hanks for visiting Artz Palette!

Amazing, Well done ! Can we just use resin instead of using varnish ? If I dont use varnish Will the gold leaf tarnish ?
Thank you and, yes you can use clear art resin. And of course use propane torch to remove the bubbles and let it dry overnight.
Looks easy is it
Or iam mistaken?
@@saimaali5508 yes, it is just give a try and share here if you do.
Beautiful... How much time should we wait before applying varnish ?
Immediately after you dust off gold flakes

Do you apply the gloss varnish all over the painting? Or only on the foil?
