Modern vehicles are ridiculous. I hate them. Recently hired a modern suv thing in Spain. We were staying in the mountains up a goat track with lots of switchbacks and crazy inclines. The vehicle was bloody dangerous with all it's electronic interventions. Had me stressed out on many occasion. Had I been in an analogue vehicle with a proper manual handbrake and no traction control I would have been far safer. All the locals were driving suzuki SJ's and short wheelbase patrols. I wish I had!
