JJk rlly is a sleeper it’s easily the best new gen and if some people think it isn’t it’s most definitely top 3 its an amazing show and the manga is great. It’s able to capture the amazing manga and adapt it perfectly gojo and getos relationship is amazing Shibuya is a 10 out of 10 arc and I can’t wait to see more. JJk is better than demon slayer
You don't even need to mention demon slayer there is no comparison. Top 3 new gen shonnen anime (I won't dare to sleep on vinland Saga which is seinen) is : JJK, AOT, Black Clover
@@WatcherD24 AOT isn't new gen, manga have started in 2009. Btw why yall always comparing animes. That looks so cringe. Why not enjoy all of them or if you hate it just don't watch it (btw imo DS is worst shonen out of all that has gained popularity so Im not defending it). Just say that JJK is a great show, that's it. You don't necessary need to humiliate other shows to prove someone superiority of your fav. ones. JJK is my fav new gen too, Gege is a demon.
One saves while one kills, one reaches new heights while one falls into evil, one has black hair while one has white, one took tojis son (blessing) while one too k the worm (curse). the parallels are immaculate
been reading the manga but first time i realized it, gojo was traumatized by getos loneliness turning to the dark when gojo diverted as getos equal. Now gojos raising his students to be strong as him so that they would never feel lonely. All this time i thought gojo was just a good mentor but it was him losing a friend due to loneliness😢just noticed on S2E05 we he said to young megumi to be strong as him so he can keep up with him. So jjks main theme is about the depth of loneliness. love it
This is the part that turned me into a fan when reading the manga and after seeing the anime version I realized it was because geto's story was very similar to sensui's in yu yu hakusho and that was my favorite arc in that manga. This point in jjk is when it stops trying to be an average manga and becomes something closer to hxh and csm that doesn't really care about being marketable and rather try telling dark gritty stories that isnt afraid of breaking the rules of shonen.
THIS! I have anime only friends who prefer demon slayer over jjk😬 while i can only shake my head, they dont know the greatness that‘ll come with season 2! I have read the manga immediately after season 1, since then jjk is in my top 3 manga of all time
they adapted this arc so well, episode 4 has got to be my favorite episode for the anime so far. i waited until all 5 episodes were adapted and then watched it. felt like i had seen a movie. shibuya arc gonna hit good, i cant wait to see the animation they pull off.
the arc is gonna take 5 weeks to get here btw, the next three are just gonna be recaps from last season. (its also in the ep. 6 comments on crunchyroll)
I love it! Next is Shibuya which is going to be amazing!! But im super worried Culling Games is gonna skim right through. I am hoping anime remedies alot of missed character building pieces
Bro its crazy how big JJK became in such a short time of having an anime(I knew season 2 was gon bring slice of life fans in) it's fr bout to have one of those Naruto/Dragon Ball/One Piece/Bleach type runs....#JJKSavedShonen
This is what I believe jjk does best, it just skips all the boring and unnecessary bits (training and anything that ultimately the viewers can just assume). Even the fights are pretty short if you think about it but it's realistic. If someone's that much stronger than you, the fight ain't gonna last long.
cannot agree more with what you said very peak arc. also, great video as well man been coming to these vids after new ep of jjk and i like to see your insight on them...
Fr anime did a much better job, from Utahimes bit of some kind of haunted mansion to Getos last moments deciding. I really loved going to the cult the shadow spreading more under his feet and the panel contrasting between Geto and Gojo, showed just how split at that moment they became
@shepardcommander5174 we need that scene before shibuya starts its like one of my top 5 favorite parts in the whole series is the way nobara and megumi react to ozawa liking yuji

If only they put that as manga accurate scene it would be best thing in the whole series ever would and could be.... Not saying it affect the whole arc but that scene would always remain to me as a hic up considering how great everything was till and after tgat scene was and is
Yeah the choise of camera angle is still very odd for sure, could have been way more impactful, a lot of scenes from this arc were made bettwr tho at the same time so it's a bit of a trade off I guess
Tbh i prefer the anime version better since it actually feels like enlightenment which the manga readers miss most of the time and don't get to understand how exactly gojo feels when doing that.
Yeah this ARC is awesome tho Toji bodied Gojo pretty hard but to be serious its no suprise since Toji had masterfully worn out Gojo so it was just an amazing ARC tho i wonder how the fight between none worn out none awakend Gojo vs Toji would of gon but I am sure it would of gon to Toji either way. amazing fights either way and the story telling is awesome i hope it goes better and as good as this in the next ARC.
I know this is a hot take but the art style this episode just wasn't it. There were some absolutely amazing scenes like Geto in the shower but especially towards the end it just looked like everything was drawn with watercolors. The ending scene with Geto and Gojo was literally hard to watch and i had to skip through it. The way it is animated made them look like those inflatable floppy bloon guys, it's was just kinda bad. In my opinion it would have been better if they kept everything sharper and more grounded. And also when Geto went on stage the whole thing looked AI generated. The fight between Gojo and Toji in the previous episodes was really well made so i hope in the future they do more of that and less of whatever this episode was trying to do.
It's not a hot take, it's not a welcoming style for the general audience but for people who are able to maintain immersion without the grounded visual aid and who can notice and appreciate the details however, it's the best thing ever. As an artist, It's the kind of thing that art critics love because of how unique and expressive it is. It's top tier creativity while probably saving budget
@@Jeyblox Yeah I got the feeling that it was meant to be more artsy.
