A pokemon deck is 60 cards everyone shuffles there deck than I believe or it does not matter but you take 6 cards from the top of the deck than place them face down in column of 3. After that draw 7 cards that's your hand a place a basic pokemon on the active spot than if you have more basic mons that place them on the bench. From here you flip a coin to see who goes first. First turner gets to draw a card I think from the deck. During your turn you can place a energy card to your pokies and use trainer cards. The game have changed from the beginning so some trainer are now support and or a item that can one be use once. But main thing is put energy on your pokemon once a turn so you can use the attacks on the card to kick the butt of your opponent 6 times to get your prize card and win the game. There are Ex,V and other pokemon that when defeated you get 2 prizes. Oh also you can only evolve your pokemon once per turn. So if you have bulbasaur, ivysaur and vinesaur you can't just place them all down like it's hyper digivoling. But am sure there cards and pokemon moves that will let you skip but in general only 1 stage at a time but if you want to evolve 3 basic to there next stage go ahead on that turn. Oh! Ya guess I skip weakness and retreat cost. If your pokemon is strong against your opponent like fire beat grass than your attack is double so if it would do 20 damage now it's 40 instead. If it resist the attack than straight up 30 less damage. For retreat cost the number of white energy which are colorless so any energy works when you see that on a pokemon but you must discard that many energy from your pokemon to move it to the bench on your turn. So if your pokemon have 3 retreat stars than you need to remove 3 energy from it to move to the bench. Hm that the basic for like turns now for status. Like the video game there sleep,burn, paralysis and posion. I don't think there frozen. Oh yes confusion is in the game. Posion pokemon take 1 damage each turn. Burn I don't remember what it did I think it's like posion but 2 damage. Confusion and sleep can go away if you get head on coin flip. Sleep is at the start of your turn and at the end of your turn I think. Confusion is like in the game during your attack you flip a coin heads the attack does what it should do if tails you smack yourself for 20 damage. Paralysis you can't do any attacks or either retreat but you can evolve your pokemon to cure it but paralysis goes away at the end of your turn. Okay that all hm oh wait I don't think I mentioned it's one attack per turn ya my bad but ya if your pokemon have two attacks you can only use one of them during your turn. There's no penalty for Mulligans in that game. If you ever bother playing the old GB PTCG video game, assuming that the Switch port can fo multiplayer, I suggest finding friends willing to "ban" Energy Removal and Super Energy Removal. Really opens up the card pool.

The T1 rules have changed so many times... the original version of them was just "No evolving for either player's first turn." That was it! You got to draw, play Trainers, attach Energy, and even attack! S'why Haymaker decks got popular; with some luck you could win before your opponent even got a turn, and even without luck, your deck was just more efficient.
So, it was clearly stated that they goofed thinking this would be the Christmas episode, but since they _thought_ it was, I still have to ask: *Where's Delibird?* The Delivery Pokémon is literally themed after Santa Claus. XD In fact, Christmas-themed Pokémon really could have been its own video.
Yay, more Pokémon TCG! I'd still love for one of you to blow the minds of the other three by having them look at TCG cards. *Start* with the utterly broken Base Set Trainers and work your way forward. From what I can tell, the Pocket version of the Pokémon TCG is a simplified version. No Prize Card mechanic (which is good), lower HP scores on the biggest boys, no Resistance (not that the actual TCG makes much use of it), etc. Oh, and due to the simplification and how Energy works, seems like there's more luck in type-matching, getting setup, and more reliance on coin flips.

Kyle So legit, I was sent "Mary's lasagna" and it did barely have any actual measurements. Being Americans and using "a cup of X" is almost as useless as not having any measurements. So you get a variation of Mary's lasagna. Don't forget to apply oil Cut onions, peel then grate onions, mince garlic. Apply oil to your pot, saute meat and vegetables. Use meat seperator or giant spoon to give everything some colour. Put your chorped tomatoes in, put your (at least one) stock cube in, put some water in. Cook at a temperature until done. Put your butter in your other pan (don't apply oil), put your flour in and make a roux. Pour milk in when ready, whisk or use big spoon. Put cheese in. When ready, mix cheese and meat sauces together. Big spoon some sauce into your dish, put in canelloni tubes, more sauce, some shredded mozerella, continue till done. Stick in oven. Remove from oven Cool down Eat

One of my goto recopies is a slow cooker ravioli. Instructions, __ pasta sauce, then ravioli, then more sauce, then cheese, then more ravioli, and sauce, more cheese, top with more ravioli sauce and cheese. 4) *Don't place Prizes yet.* First you draw your 7 card hand and check to see if you have any Basic Pokémon *or* one of the select few non-Basic Pokémon cards that can be put into play as your Active Pokémon _specifically_ during the game's setup.
5) This is because one of the win conditions in Pokémon is your opponent having no Pokémon in play, sometimes referred to as a "Bench Out". If we did Prizes first, it increases the risk of mulligans, or even someone having *zero* things they could put into play.
6) You may also put other Basic Pokémon, or the select few cards that expressly state they can be put into play as Pokémon during the setup, onto your Bench at this time. *However,* you cannot exceed five Benched Pokémon (unlike the _three_ of the PTCGP).
7) If one player does _not_ have any cards they can put into play as their Active Pokémon, a "mulligan" occurs. That player must reveal their hand to the opponent (to prove the need to mulligan). Then the player taking the mulligan shuffles their hand back into their deck and draws a new seven card hand to try again.
7) The penalty for mulligans have changed over the years. _Currently,_ for every mulligan your opponent takes, you have the option of drawing a card from your deck. If *both* players mulligan, neither player gets to draw a card for those mulligans. If, for example, both players mulligan then Player A mulligans twice more, Player B (Player A's opponent) would get to draw up to two cards.
8) You don't draw for mulligans until _after_ all those mulligans have resolved. You get to decide how many, if any cards, you will draw up to the amount of solo mulligans all at once e.g. if your opponent had five mulligans and you had none, you would choose to draw up to five cards, then draw the amount decided upon, whether it was 0, 1, 2. 3, 4, or 5 cards. You are also permitted to Bench additional Basic Pokémon at this time, provided you have open space on your Bench for them.
9) *Now* you set aside the top six cards of your deck face down, without looking at them, to act as your Prize cards. Instead of earning "points" for KOing your opponent's Pokémon (as in the PTCGP), you take one or more Prize cards and add it (or them) to your hand.
10) Most Pokémon are worth a single Prize card when KO'd, but some are worth two or more, and some card effects can reduce or increase how many Prizes are taken. If you take all of your Prizes, you win. This is the primary win condition of the Pokémon TCG.
11) For the record, besides win via Knock Out (see #10) and Bench Out (See #5), you win if your opponent has no cards to draw at the start of their turn (Deck Out), or the extremely rare in game effect that just says "You win."
12) Having your six Prize cards arranged as two columns of three/three rows of two is the traditional approach, but the rules don't actually specify it. You just need to have them arranged neatly in a manner where you're not obscuring how many are remaining, you can't see what they are, and aren't going to be mixed into or confused with something else.
13) The last past of setup is both players revealing their facedown Active Pokémon (and any Benched Pokémon). Then the player going first begins their first turn by drawing.
14) Players always begin their turn by drawing a card. Remember, if you go to draw at this point but cannot because your deck is empty, *you lose!*
15) Neither player can evolve a Pokémon during their first turn. _After this point,_ you can evolve a Pokémon so long as it was already in play before your turn began. Even then, you only can evolve a specific instance of a Pokémon once per turn, though you can evolve more than one Pokémon in the same turn. For example, if you have two Charmander in play at the start of your turn and put a third one into play, the third one cannot evolve this turn, but you can evolve one or both of the others into Charmeleon. However, you'll have to wait until your next turn to evolve either Charmeleon into Charizard, and the third Charmander can now Evolve into Charmeleon but not yet into Charizard. *Note:* As always, some cards have effects that allow you to bend this rule.
15) The _exact_ first turn rules have changed several times for Pokémon. *First* I'll explain what you can do in general terms, *but* I'll mention if you don't get to do it Turn 1 (Player 1's first turn). The following can be done in _any_ order and can even be skipped if you either can't or don't want to do them, unless another card effect says otherwise:
A. Put Basic Pokémon cards from your hand onto your Bench, unless your Bench is already full.
B. Evolve your Pokémon (see #15 for restrictions on this).
C. Attach an Energy card from your hand to one of your Pokémon (once per turn).
D. Play as many Trainer cards that *aren't* Stadiums or Supporter cards.
E. Play a Stadium card (only once per turn).
F. Play a Supporter card (only once per turn *and* the player going first _doesn't_ get to play a Supporter on their first turn)
G. Retreat your Active Pokémon (only once per turn).
H. Use Abilities (as many as you want).
16) If you can afford the the Energy requirements, you can attack, but once the attack resolves your turn automatically ends. The player going first doesn't get to attack on their first turn.

@@zerokura You are welcome. It is impressive you retained as much as you did. I loved the old Pokémon TCG video game on the Game Boy but it didn't even have the rules right when it was new. There's no penalty for Mulligans in that game.
If you ever bother playing the old GB PTCG video game, assuming that the Switch port can fo multiplayer, I suggest finding friends willing to "ban" Energy Removal and Super Energy Removal. Really opens up the card pool.

The T1 rules have changed so many times... the original version of them was just "No evolving for either player's first turn." That was it! You got to draw, play Trainers, attach Energy, and even attack!
S'why Haymaker decks got popular; with some luck you could win before your opponent even got a turn, and even without luck, your deck was just more efficient.
Pokemon cards dont have to follow the games when it comes to moves, especially since they dont need an attack dex to have similar moves

I'd still love for one of you to blow the minds of the other three by having them look at TCG cards. *Start* with the utterly broken Base Set Trainers and work your way forward.
From what I can tell, the Pocket version of the Pokémon TCG is a simplified version. No Prize Card mechanic (which is good), lower HP scores on the biggest boys, no Resistance (not that the actual TCG makes much use of it), etc. Oh, and due to the simplification and how Energy works, seems like there's more luck in type-matching, getting setup, and more reliance on coin flips.

So legit, I was sent "Mary's lasagna" and it did barely have any actual measurements. Being Americans and using "a cup of X" is almost as useless as not having any measurements. So you get a variation of Mary's lasagna. Don't forget to apply oil
Cut onions, peel then grate onions, mince garlic. Apply oil to your pot, saute meat and vegetables.
Use meat seperator or giant spoon to give everything some colour.
Put your chorped tomatoes in, put your (at least one) stock cube in, put some water in. Cook at a temperature until done.
Put your butter in your other pan (don't apply oil), put your flour in and make a roux. Pour milk in when ready, whisk or use big spoon. Put cheese in.
When ready, mix cheese and meat sauces together.
Big spoon some sauce into your dish, put in canelloni tubes, more sauce, some shredded mozerella, continue till done.
Stick in oven.
Remove from oven
Cool down
Eat

1 - Put oil into a pot with chopped onions and garlic and cook until they're softened
2 - Add minced beef and cook that all the way through until it is brown
3 - Add tomato puree and canned tomatoes. Mix thoroughly.
4 - Add salt, pepper, chilli powder, oregano, paprika and cayenne powder. Continue mixing.
5 - Finally, drain a can red kidney beans and add them into the pot. Mix everything until your arm goes numb.
6 - Serve with rice, tortillas or tacos, and you have Chilli Con Carne (Some people will hate me for adding beans and you are wrong)

One of my goto recopies is a slow cooker ravioli.
Instructions, __ pasta sauce, then ravioli, then more sauce, then cheese, then more ravioli, and sauce, more cheese, top with more ravioli sauce and cheese. Slow cook for about __ hours until heated through out and the cheese has melted and enjoy. It's good the first day, then when you pull it back out and reheat the left overs the next day it's fantastic.

2. Once the water is boiling, break a bunch of spaghetti in half and put it in the boiling hot water

4. Put the only slightly wet spaghett back in the pan
5. Add Ragu or some other inferior tomato sauce brand in the pan and add a large chunk of butter or margarine
6. Add way too many seasonings like Salt, garlic powder, pepper, more salt, paprika, and even more salt
7.Turn the burner on and set the copious amounts of seasoning, butter, tomato sauce, and the spaghetti together while simultaneously warming them on the hot pan
8. Put in a bowl and eat it, while making sure not to ruin Nico's expensive looking suit

BS1 Charizard, for instance, is Lv. 76, Jungle Vaporeon is Lv. 42, etc. This was a thing in _literally_ every set since the inception of the game. I mean, yeah, it's not a thing anymore, but it's not like they added it in for a little while then dropped it, it was there for _more than 10 years._
