Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!
I just shared your video for safety tips.
Awesome! Thank you!
I have learned a considerable amount of information on using PPT. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Your instructions are like that of a good teacher, the information sticks!
Awe Ty so much, Elaine!
Okay so I can use me heat press to cure it!!! This is great! I’ve already messed up 2 pieces of film. Smh. But, I’ll get it. My mom told me to stick w/what I was familiar with. I think I won’t.
Set the temp around 400 and cure for about 3 to 4 mins
Nice and sharp image; I love it. However, I'm not sure sure whether it's deliberate or you forgot to mirror your image so that when printed, it would give you the proper perspective.
She flipped it and explained to mirror your image… 6:30
Her image was mirrored. If you pay attention to the "George" brand on her shirt, it's also flipped, meaning the video was flipped after she was recording on her webcam.
Hey Queen I don't know if you noticed but your images are backwards on your shirts. If you mirror your design while in the software that will fix that problem. Just trying to help Stax
My images show backward on my camera, but they are mirrored. Thanks anyway
You're so great for this video, and I Thank you
You are very welcome!
Great tutorial and love both images! Please share where you got the images.
how look the shirts, when they have been washed several times?
No change
So this is only a hack to use on white cotton. Thought it was a hack that could be used on colored substrates. If I'm wrong, can you do a video using this on a colored shirt - cotton and polyester
There is no white pigment ink in the inkjet printer that is why you can't do it on dark colors
@@dorisedwards58 so this is no different than me using white toner in my laser printer. Ok.
Do you not re-use your parchment paper more than once? Thanks!!!!
Sometimes, there is sub ink blow out on there. It may be very faint but if you look closely, you can see it. It will show up on another project, so normally, I don't
I have 2 questions please. In your opinion which powder gives the best result and easiest to use (melting time & removing the film?). #2 what paper setting do you use for the print? I ask because my printer lays down a tad too much ink causing roller marks. I finally removed some of the printers rollers & it helped a lot but not completely. Thanks so much!
I liked the Medium powder better. The image was darker which I like. I use regular printer settings for plain paper. Try taping a piece of white paper behind your film and then put it in the printer, some people say that works for them. I don't have to do that with mine. You can always feel free to ask me questions
I did an image that was mostly black and got some white spots thru out the image. Why do you think that would happen.
Maybe it wasn't enough powder on the image. It's hard to troubleshoot like this
Did you put the power on the print side or the back side
On the side with the ink
The color is great but is it backwards? Was this your own design?
It shows backwards until you press it
think of it like one of those Cakes that have fantastic layers... however your not going to see them until you cut(print)
@@jrl9319 I love that comparison!
@@dorisedwards58 I've been doing this a couple years now and before that I've been doing like a decals making my own SVG over 11 years and I try to come up with like simple ways to explain because sublimation prints to the naked eye look just meh..until pressing... I love watching you because even though I have a lot of experience I always learn something
@@jrl9319 I am so glad that you can always take a little piece of something from my videos. That makes my heart smile!
How long do you have to press it on a shirt after you cure it
15 secs
Can the Glitter Film be used with the InkJet printer hack?
Yes it can
GREAT! Gotta try this!
What can we do for darks? And what's the difference between dark powder/light DTF powder?
This sublimation hack doesn't work for darks. You can use inkjet/sublimation vinyl to Easy Subli for darks
For dark colors you have to have a substrate and that can be glitter HTV... clear htv over white htv..even some glow in the darks or eve, subli.. there are many options on adding to a darker color but you have to have a substrate to sub on
@@jrl9319 yes that is correct
These both turned out great! I couldn’t see any difference in the fine vs the medium powder, at least not on screen. Do you have a preference on which worked better? Thank you for your helpful videos! 🩷
Rachelle, honestly, it was a close call. I couldn't see a huge difference. I guess they offer both to stay competitive, but from the buyers' perspective, no big difference. I will not have to buy any powder for a while, though
@@dorisedwards58 Good to know! I appreciate you taking the time to reply! Have a great week ahead! 😊
@@rachelle2032 Anytime
Thanks for info so you can do these on the print side and it come out still right because it looks backwards
Trust me it's not backwards. The video shows like that
Ok thanks trying to learn so you always mirror the images and put the powder on the backwards side
@@juicyjuicy2471 yes to mirror and powder goes on the side with the ink
