I'm really impressed with this new Traxxas E-REVO 2.0 Monster Truck. It handles well, it seems durable (for now), it's fast, and the batteries lasted me 40 minutes per pair! Insane!
adrian firth I know you didn’t ask me, and am not seeking to cut anyone’s grass, but as a Kraton V3 owner I would say buy whichever one you can find available that you like the most. They both have good and not so good aspects. Or even better, buy both.

What places do you recommend around Northampton for some thrashing? Love your videos. Inspired me to start doing some myself on my channel. Cheers
Fortnite And RC I’d recommend the erevo 2.0 over the first edition one. Better power train in there with the diffs and trans. Driveshafts are thicker. Better tires. Really I only had rod ends strip out that was it.
Great video as always mate. Durable they are not, had mine for two months and so far I’ve completely sheared the front centre shaft (god knows how this happened!!), sheared the transmission yoke, ripped a tyre at the bead, the rear drive cups are quite worn already and today the shock shaft ripped straight out the shock rod end... and I’ve gone easy on it compared to this video haha!!. Spares are a nightmare to get in the UK at the moment, I’ve had to import virtually everything for it. Not cheap. That being said it is a beast and I love using it just wish it was tougher.
Badbadleeroy Brown funny that, about these 1/8 scale rtr cars, I have a V3 Kraton, have replaced a cracked front dogbone, re glued a tyre and lost two wheel nuts from them coming loose until I loctited them, and had all three diffs apart, the centre a few times. It’s all part of the fun. Best of luck mate 🍺👍
R Soul you're right it is part of the fun mate. It's the parts availability in he U.K. that pisses me off the most, I don't mind breaking it so long as I know I can fix it! I also have a slash 4x4 which I hammer, safe in the knowledge that I can get anything parts wise for it. I want to be able to be like that with my e revo hopefully it'll get better. 🍻
@@BuckeyeBallistics well then you can go for the Summit or if you still want something fast the HPI Savage flux but I still prefare revos , btw you can make it go a bit higher by adjusting the shocks but the car will just tip over all the times
@@lilnash7 I mean the Stampede VXL 4x4 would be the obvious choice, but this Rustler 4x4 is a far more capable rig, which is why I said it'd be cool if they made one with higher ground clearance, because it would still be better than the Stampede. Or the could just re-engineer the Stampede...

I just picked up a used 1/10 E-Revo with the momba monster 6s esc, is running 6's batterys a little overkill on the motor? should i run 4s normally and occasionally pull out the 6s? been thinking of getting a heat sink for the motor but i do want reliability.
By turning the rims one turn on the hex hub at a time the balancebwill find a happy medium and will balance out better. It will definitely get the tire wobble out and also silly puddy or better plastercine inside the rim for balancing also helps. Balance on a 2 wheel drive front end to ensure best balancing results. I have the 2.0 and the notorious. They both have the same amount of flaws. I barely jumped the notorious and already have snapped the chassis support, which then bent the whole chassis. I'd rather change out some rod ends than a chassis.
It goes like this. Out of the box the kraton is better, its built better and will hit the 60mph speed. The revo has cheap plastic parts and will break more often and it also only does 50 out the box. BUT if you really want the ultimate experience you can upgrade the revo parts and change the gear. The Revo does almost 80MPH!! And after the upgrades it durable as fuck. Sure it will cost more but at the end of the day aren't we looking for the best? You have to pay to play, both are great and you can't go wrong with either but the revo stands alone.

Yes all stock out of the box on 6s lipo.

You can run 6s lipo all day long, the truck is designed to run it :)

I watched a few videos of the 2.0 and there loads of flaws with it as they have made it wider the components are subject to more stress.
The 3.0 is revised and is a VERY strong competitor against the E-Revo. Check it out!
