Nicely done. I live in Milton Keynes and l can tell you that while these buildings rot. Major new warehouse developements are being built to take advantage of M1 motorway access. Including expansion of the city boundary into green belt farm land.

Thank you for sharing the video, you inspired me to go and take a walk around there this morning and take some pictures - I live nearby, but never knew these buildings were just sitting there, quietly rotting away. It's quite a sight!

Glad it inspired you, MK has so much to see and photograph as it constantly changes, hope you take many more photos!

I used to live in MK.
It has some excellent cycle paths and in my explorations, I found a ghost city centre, located between the CMK Shopping Centre and the canal.
There are car parks, underpasses for pedestrians and building plots laid out so that the existing city centre could be doubled in size.
The underpasses and car parks are now overgrown with some seriously big brambles and are occupied by homeless people.

This is my local stomping ground. A lot of those firms have moved to other sites in Milton Keynes. Like workforce for instance. I know their old site is for sale currently with the intention of knocking it down and rebuilding (like the Ingram building down the road). There's also talks about new buildings at the Hitachi site although they've been rejected so far due to size. I'd expect that whole side of precedent drive to be knocked down soon.
I just wanted to throw my 2 cents in to give some explanation why these sites are in such a state. I think in 5 years time the site will look very different.

I remember when people actually worked there. I've seen that place fall to ruin over the years. Ironically there is a sign on the left hand side stating the security company that guards/once guarded it. If I was them I'd take it down as they clearly haven't done a good job. As one other person commented there are new warehouses going up all over MK and no one is occupying them. I guess if you build it, they don't always come

Starting to look a lot like the old industrial areas in a lot of cities in the USA.

And they are building more and more of them just to sit there empty for months if not years.total waste of space.
