Only on the river, it seems. And pre when considering 3betting from sb. I need to get them in my head more on the turn. That's what I am working on now. This game aint easy
Out of all the poker vlogers (Owen, lex o, rampage, etc…) J Winn is by far the most analytical and is constantly improving his game to be the best of the best. I’m happy he’s a coach at poker coaching because his game is in the same stage as mine and being able to mirror my progression with his is helping me accelerate my studies. Thank you Jonathan
Excellent video! Perfect timing for me to watch it, as at my session last night I used nut flush Ace and King blockers, and even a measly 9 of hearts blocker, to rep a fkush hand and take down three or four sizable pots. I'm working on improving my player reads for when three flush boards hit and then working in those blocker bets into my arsenal. Great video, Jonathan. Keep 'em coming!
Hi Jon! Hi Jwin! I haven't seen the outcome yet. While this hand (particularly the river raise) makes for a really interesting discussion, it feels a bit FPSy. We all agree that the opponent has a strong value hand, probably two pair or better. Thanks to your blockers you can certainly represent a monster. But don't they almost always say, "Sigh. If you have a flush you win" and call? I guess you need to know your opponent, but y'all correctly pointed out that they really shouldn't have a leading range on the river. Given that, is *this* the person you wanna push off two pair?
Yes you would, for maximum value. If you have the nuts, make your bet so big it looks like an overbet bluff and TRY to not smile when you get paid. I've been paid MANY times by people who "have to see it." And if you are called and it's a bluff then the table is primed and more likely to call when you do have it. Table image is important, anyone decent is figuring out how you play and is using it against you.
Hello! I assume you’re referring to me. A lot of changes over the last 3 months, so videos dropped from my priority. I’ve spoken about this a few times. But I did end the year w +220k or so in live cash earnings. For this year, I’m right under 6 figures but decided to keep my profits private going forth as I’ll be a much more valuable member to the poker community in different ways. Finally, I hired a new editing firm so expect me to be back on TH-cam soon. Sorry for ghosting everyone w little explanation.
This ended up working but I don’t think this is a great play when you bet big on the turn a lot of the hands that call the big size are Kx of spades that hand never folds you run into a brick wall alot
@Jonathan Little - Poker Coaching. Why are you making a video about a vloger who Never Vlogs? Sorry, why are you "promoting" a guy who Never vlogs? His last video is 3 months ago! And why is he (Jwin) talking like he is still vlogging???
How often do you use the concept of blockers to help you decide what you should do at the poker table? 🤔
20 percent of the time roughly.
All the time in great game of Omaha cash :)
Here after the deep run in the pca. So happy for you. Thanks for all of the hard work over the years.

Well played 🙏
Wow, great bluff, to turn top pair into a bluff isn't something you see often but I like it!
Great river bet.

If he's representing the nut flush wouldn't you want to be called?

When did this game take place? Was surprised to see everybody wearing a mask.
He said it was in 2021, I think. Really stupid wearing mask when everyone is passing chips and cards to each other 😂
Phillip should have lead on the river. If he didnt lead he would have won the pot%
777... Woohoo
