Panama is one of the countries I am interested in visiting now that I am retired. They have a good retiree visa. I was more interested in the cooler areas in the north, but being in a big city has a certain appeal.
1.6k for that apartment its expensive, you can get apartments in paitilla for around 1.2k but a bit older but biggers, very cool spot to live is costa del este or punta pacifica, albrook is awesome as well but coco del mar its dope
thank you for this. I am Canadian getting ready to spend 6 months less a day away from winter. I have been interested in Panama for some time now. After watching I have taken another to this goal
Well that was unexpected.. didn’t realized you moved that far south. We are in central Florida and definitely looking to move/retire in Spain/Portugal areas.. so I’m very interested in why you guys moved to panama?
I'd been wondering for awhile about your apartment because what little I could see behind you in your videos looked really nice. The rest did not disappoint! Although Panama City is modern with all the amenities of a modern city, it is still in Panama, so I wonder how people like me (who forgot all the Spanish I learned in school) would do there. Is some level of Spanish proficiency required?
Wow!!!! A place like this in LA is $6,000 + a month. I’m looking to move there temporarily, how is the rental process? Do they check your income before applying for apartments?
Is this on Balboa or Punta Patilla? love the loft style but not had the chance to stay in one. I have stayed in a number of places on Balboa. I think Destiny and Yacht Club have been my favorite buildings.
Great video, really enjoyed this loft. I am a realtor in Panama City, Panama 🇵🇦. And this video was very spot on. If your look to buy or rent in Panama City, I’ll be very happy to be of service. 😊
What a twist! Love your channel, enjoy watching financial information. But what an unexpected move on your part from B.C. to Panama. I follow the news and any practical information about this country and hope to retire there in 2-3 years. The big city and heat is not for us, so probably will investigate the Boquete area. Are you tourists there or on a Friendly Nations Visa? So many Canadians decided that is much better to become a digital nomad!
price at 5:50. A little too high for me... but I could stand a quarter of those luxuries and space for a 4th of the price... anything like that available??
Hello. I was wondering if there is a way that I could ask you a few questions about retirement income for educational purposes. To make better and more informed decisions for myself.
How much does it cost on maintenance fees? i imagine due to the poor and unused amenities should be rather low? If so, that is another positive rather than a negative.
I haven't run the numbers but it seems considerably cheaper to rent than to own in Panama. I look at owning from the opportunity cost. It seems you're tying up a lot of capital that may or may not appreciate. I live in California and it is way cheaper to rent.
It looks like this specific unit was sold. panamahomerealty.com/properties/fully-furnished-apartment-for-sale-in-yacht-club-tower-rLCab This is the agency I used to sign my lease, you can contact them to see what's available!
Panama has several different visa programs depending on what you plan to do. For me the retirement visa is pretty nice and comes with a lot of discounts and perks. On perk is a travel discount on flights. There are other visas for people who are working which I haven’t really looked at. I think a lot of countries have developed visa’s for remote workers since the pandemic
I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my whole life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Mrs Maria Reyes.
I’m so glad your here in my country!!!
Enjoy your time here!

Have fun!!! See you!!!
I did not expect a luxury apt tour guide. I'm sure there's a lot of people looking for good value living choices nowadays including me.

So freaking cool. Great presentation.
Pamana is such a good choice for ex pats. Central time zone; short flight from many US cities. It is on my retirement list for sure!
Panama is Eastern Time Zone, same as New York
@@larrywillard844 EST year around, it doesn't change so with DST it is in CST part of the year.

Good stuff ❤
id love to hear about how you came up with that outro lol bHYeeeeeeee!
Why would you go to the pool when you can go to the beach?
Renting may not be a good deal, to begin with. Pretty bad deal, honestly. 😄

i like!!
How is your Spanish? Panama looks nice, but I’d be worried about security in general, specially with a language barrier.
Panama is very safe. Don’t worry.
How do you apply to live there?
