Flying to Belize NOT on a 737! American Airlines A319 from Miami to Belize!

Hey guys and welcome to another trip report! It is pretty rare that I share the same route within 6 months but I just had to this time as I was finally flying to Belize on an aircraft that is NOT a 737! Today I’m on American Airlines’ A319 (with its older interior as a bonus). Now that summer is here and travel to Belize has slowed down a bit, the airline is now operating the smaller A319 for one out of the two daily flights to Belize. I love the A319 !!!💕 When Boeing started getting into serious trouble with it's 737 Max, I had hoped that the A319 would become more popular. I'm still holding out hope that will see an explosion in orders. She's a tiny plane but she sure can roar on take-off !!!😅✈️

Less people flight to Belize since it's summer so the airlines go for the smaller Airbus 319 or B737

Some places like Houston actually has heavier traffic during the summer with Southwest and United adding additional flights

@@aviation_belize Absolutely! Weekends during the summer see 3 United flights from Houston, which I believe is to sort of make up for other United routes to Belize that have either no offering or rare once a week offerings during this period (ORD and EWR for example). Not to mention the daily Southwest flight from HOU!

@@Zionlewis031 Unfortunately the direct flight between Belize and Mexico City with AeroMexico was discontinued … the only flight to Mexico is with Tropic Air to Cancun!

In the winter we only get JetBlue with Airbus
