Not sure what it was about Letterman but musical artists often performed out of their skin on the show. So many classic performances and this is right up there! Incredible :) I miss the Late Show with Dave.
I still love the story of this record. That he submitted "Love Is Hell" (arguably his best record, definitely my personal favorite) label rejects it and he pumps this record out in 2 weeks under the agreement that they would then put out Love Is Hell (albeit they did so splitting it up into two EP's initially.
