This is why I’m glad I drive cars that they don’t want to steal. My car is 20yo with paint missing and my truck is 22yo with 200,000 miles. They don’t really want my cars.

A steel key avoids all of this, but the government can't control the car if you need a steel key to start it. They need to bring back the steering wheel lock as well.

Question for you, my 2019 RedEye has the security feature that locks out a 4th key from being programmed, will that android device you show allow a key to be programmed? since I had that security feature updated I have come out to the car two different times with the passengers side window broken out but the car still there.

Put the OBD into the engine. Gps kill switch tied into ignotion and the fuel pump. If you have the luxury pull the fuel relay or igbition. Removable steering wheel. Lol.

They track ur car by them iPhone tag's bro. You need to let them know about the iPhone tag and android tags and what app to know if you have a tag on they car

It does in theory.. but I’ve heard of people managing to steal them regardless of this upgrade. I’m assuming since all they need to do to get around it is buy the $159 module, it’s not hard for them to manage
Usually it takes 5-10 or even 15 minutes to program a key

I like the idea but what going to prevent someone from yanking that plug off the OBD2 plug?
They would have to know it’s there. And you could always use the ecu or pcm pass through as well
Just pull the fuse for the ob2 port no power no programming.
This is exactly why auto makers should of never discontinued a keyed ignition with the immobilizer chip the dumbest thing auto makers have ever done Idk wtf these auto makers are thinking 🤔

I’m glad I drive vehicles that require an actual physical key. I’m sorry but as great as this keyless technology is it’s also a problem. Lately there have been multiple incidents in my area where thieves have broken into storage lots for both Stelantis and Ford and have stolen brand new vehicles. Now I know how they were able to do it and it’s disturbing.
