I think the Pro model is a better calculator as it has more functions. But it seems it cannot do simple complex calculations such as (1+i)^6. Comes up with "Error Domain". Is this a bug?
Does it feel like the TI-30XPLUS Mathprint is easier and works faster than the Casio fx-82AU PLUS II? I bought the Casio to use for uni (we need approved calculators) and it's so frustrating to use. If I need to go back in an equation and change up a + for a -, it takes forever. I previously used the TI-84 Plus CE and loved it.
I’ve been reading that the speed of the 30X plus has very similar speed than the CE. I think a better cal is the 30X Pro. But for now I’m using the 30x plus and it is faster than the 36X pro
When I unboxed my ti-30x plus math print it did not turn on. I looked inside the calculater and there is 2 button batteries but i dont know if they work or not
@@cylurian I would say that behind my ti-nspire CXII cas, this is easily my second favourite calculator.....and I think it has a much more elegant look than the goofy cheap looking american versions...Waiting a month for it to ship from Germany sucked though.
I agree. The TI 36X pro that is sold here in the United States, is not elegant. Although it is inexpensive, and for those who can’t afford a TI 83 or TI 84, TI 36X pro will be sufficient. Specifically for first year, Statistics.
I got the TI-30X Pro Mathprint variant over the Plus. It has more capabilities like derivatives and integrals. I highly recommend the Pro variant.

I think so too, the Pro is way better. I have a video on that one as well.

Really sucks. Maybe you can return the calculator or keep it in the sun for a little bit to see if it charges.
@@cylurian I’ll try that
@@cylurian it is the batteries I tested them and they did not give any power
If then have no power, find the exact ones. But if this is new, it's not fair for you to buy new batteries. @@TheEditKid1
@@cylurian I found batteries that are the right type of batteries in my house and now my calculator works! Thx for giving advice
Where did you order it?
You can still get it via Amazon amzn.to/3NgWtvq.
You definitely need to get the TI-30x pro, it has many more features....It is basically a 36x pro on steroids
I do have the one when I realized there was a pro. I’ll make a video of that one. I mention the pro at the beginning of the video.
