Acrobatics allows you glide (and also you can run pretty fast/climb walls). When you first start the game, you can only glide downward as the wind goes, but later on when you level up it's like you have Batman's jet wings! Once you get to level 8 or 9 you can soar. That might just be because I have gadgets as my power though...I'm not sure.
I never really thought acrobatics would be good (quite slow in my opinion) but it looks cool so I might make a Assassins Creed inspired character with acrobatics.
@NarbaysSC2 umm sorry to bother u but i have dcu probably for about a month or so and i have restarted my character many times and now i have light as my power and i was doing the quest where u kill the greed demons and stuff adn i completed it but when i clicked on it to get my xp nothing happens and i cant get my xp or finish the quest line it was the 1st quest to start that story....
super speed may be the fastest movement but it makes no sense at all for to become level 9 and get speed force and a flyer is in supersonic and right behind u. sure yur a head and he will lose u but the point is u should be zooming the flyer! DX btw yur perfect with acro buddy good video
on ps3 there is a glitch with acrobatics where if you do the rocket assisted glide and press the chat menu button and wait a few seconds then exit the chat you will fly. You can go up and down and turn around all that.
@NarbaysSC2 Well, there is. Check under feats -> general -> races. You'll find "Pro Athlete" for adept races and "Natural Talent" for expert races. They're 3 star feats, of course, so they're supposed to be hard.
i would like to make a batman-look-a-like and acrobatics is the most batman-alike movement but this like cool, only super speed or flying is much more faster....hmmm what should i do

@NarbaysSC2 It does help your skills, you just get trained and you rarely notice it, acrobatics is the best movement mode in my opinion. It's just amazing and the hardest movement :D

You need to skill if you have it hold Space Bar
You have to spec into it, it's a trait in the acrobatics tree

Acrobatics pretty much gives you 75% of the capabilities of both super speed and flight. Pretty good choice for movement.

It would be better if the levels were more like the Batman game for the Sega Genesis. That environment was better suited for acrobatics.

I was always have major lag when i do the challenge but it makes it tougher. u did it so smoothly,
your character moves so smoothly, although it is a video game, it is quite impressive how you maintain such pace and yet you do not stutter.

You could use the guided rocket glide when going through the rings, it speeds things up a bit.
