Completely obsessed with your videos! I'm new at urban sketching and learning to be loose but still choosing the right details of a scene has been a struggle for me. So thankful I found you! Thank you!
Can't wait to try this later today. I have been having success with your tutorials. In 1976-1977 high school art, the teachers were working with me to try to get me to sketch loose. Finally 46 years later I think I have success. Thank You.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge, I've just got a new sketchbook and this tutorial is really helpful . Really appreciated! Definitely brightened my rainy day in Scotland 😊
my friend and i have given each other a challenging to fill two pages with urban sketching this month. i’ve never done it before, and it seemed really daunting, but you really broke down the topic and made it so much more accessible. now i’m really excited to give it a try. thank you for your hard work
It's great finding Aussies on yt art, esp since you are trained in art and teaching-so many youtubers are not (I'm an artist in the Blue Mtns) I joined an urban sketch group up here and haven't yet got to it. 34 degree days where they met the past 2 times! But perspective being my weakest skill I was pleased to find your page.
😊it’s great to find a place to share my skills! yea that would be pretty hot sitting sketching in that heat😮💨. Glad these tutorials have been a help👍🏼
I always enjoy your tutorials. Love how you explain the horizon line and angles of the rooftops. It’s subtle, but makes a difference. I probably would not have picked up on that.
How did you carry the 2 watches not on wrist? I assume not in your socks? I'd not thought of taking 3 watches but next trip i can't wait to try it out.

Yay That's amazing! So good to hear your success 🤗🎉
I’m new to urban sketching and I’ve watched a couple of your videos and have already received great value from them. Thank you.
This is like the Nirvana of drawing, it’s not necessarily traditional and is really simple but still unimaginably damn amazing

I like the way you simplify this complex picture into simple one having enough details to create interest... Thanks for sharing Tips.

Waiting for it thank you🙏.. Please recommend me a budget sketch book...By The Way Very Beautiful Drawing
Thanks mate😊. Canson mixed media pads are good for sketching and have lots of pages. Ok for light washes but not heavy watercolor.
Strathmore makes a number of 'Visual Journals ' that are made from cotton. They work well with watercolors and are affordable... around $20.
Beautiful ❤️
Extremely helpful!
Love to hear that🤗

ive tried learning from you. its really great but when i try to add colors, it just doesnt turn out good.
Hej are you using the regular watercolor..?
A winsor & newton cotmans set 👍🏼
What type of pen do you use that doesn’t blend when u put in the water color ?
It’s a Uniball Eye (aka vision) Ultra Micro pen. It has waterproof ink👍🏼
sakura micron pens are also amazing!
Nice tutorial , but how one can make money with urban sketching ?
