swing like a doah/ door as JL chamberlain said so interesting! i remember learning about nashville as run of the mill while playing a computer strategy game!
Good impersonation of Daniels as Chamberlain. As a Mainer, I can assure you that Daniels studied his Maine accent by sticking his fingers in his years and repeatedly screaming "I can't hear you!" whenever he encountered someone from Maine.
Nah, this spot, Redoubt #1, is located on the Confederate left flank on the first day. (Not the extreme flank, but in that sector) She's Hill is further south and was the scene of fighting the next day.
@@M80Ball If you have every been to SA, the city built up to the Alamo. They even sold pieces of the wall at one time. All that is left is the long barracks and I am not sur what the place were the gift shop was. Point is only about a 1/3 is left
@@outdoorlife5396 sad ive heard theres not much left of Alamo. I dont even think its worth going to to be honest I know the history but being at gettysburg and Shiloh to look out mountain. I saw the alamo on google maps and its not appeasing.. I thought the same a bit about our revolutionary war battlefields
I appreciate what you guys are doing but don't you think it would be better to present each video in a bit more serious manner since many men desperately fought and died and being permanently maimed right there leaving their state and families destitute for decades. I hope you will have another James Earl Jones type production one day.
I stopped by Stones River today after watching your videos earlier this week. Thanks!
Chickamauga and Missionary Ridge yesterday too. I love living around so much history. Nice way to spend a lunch break.
@@jamesbranum1062 Thats counts as a very good day in my book!
SAVE OUR BATTLEFIELDS AMERICA 🇺🇸
Great horse imitation Gary. It was amazing. Great video too.🤣👍
Huzzah! Huzzah! The cavalry advances! Great imitation! Loved this video!
This is probably the best excuse for going on youtube and using it for homework
Awesome presentation with horse galloping sound effects
Like the energy very insightful 👍
Way to fun it up. I love it
Love seeing how much they enjoy what they do. Always entertaining.
The battle of Nashville is what i have been waiting for
My 5 Times great grandfather fought at Nashville in the 10th Minnesota volunteer infantry regiment.
they are in the famous painting from 1906? cool interesting!!! what a history?
I love the reenactment! It gives a better picture of what was taken place. Thank you for this!
Why couldn’t you guys be my history professors when I was in college? Y’all make it fun not boring lectures.
Professors don't get to go out and have fun like we do 😃 thanks for joining us!

I believe if you cut Garry's arms off he could not talk LOL

Any info on Samuel J. Churchill who received a "Medal of Honor" at the Battle of Nashville. (a family ancestor). Thanks!❤
There is a union fort with earth works on a hill near franklin overlooking a river/creek .
I didn't see any signage. Is this the same place as Shy's hill ?
Nah, this spot, Redoubt #1, is located on the Confederate left flank on the first day. (Not the extreme flank, but in that sector)
She's Hill is further south and was the scene of fighting the next day.
Grew up near there
What is the vegitation (trees?) where the cavalry charged. Bamboo?
Gary portrays a horse very well
I hope that these battles fields do not become like the Alamo, surrounded by downtown San Antino
I don’t see San Antonio spilling into Tennessee.

I think it was concord I was looking at on google maps and it looks sooo small and nothing there compared to civil war sites.
Wish they spoke about the grant and Thomas controversy
Are we going to get Perryville in this western summary?
You can view our Perryville videos from our West Virginia/Kentucky trip: th-cam.com/play/PLZrhqv_T1O1spROt8BSXVzWjOGW1Zgbao.html
What does redoubt mean? BTW great series
An enclosed fort.

Get that man some coconut halves x D
Hood West Point 1853
same as Schofield
Sorry, but it s gonna take Barrels of Malted Therapy to rid my mind of the vision of Adelman’s “Cavalry” advancing…
"Most eggcellent"
Keep on peoples...
Hood was in the class of '53 with Schofield, not in the class of 54.
Actually, Schofield tutored Hood in math.
run away run away at once lads! lol
Shame there's not many re enactments these days. New generation has gotten too soft.
