Eric Jacobson: You gave perhaps the best and most insightful answer to the “what if question”. At 13:57 you observed “The truth s we don’t know what happens if they block the road” It’s not an easy task to predict the winner and loser of a battle that never happened. The most that can be honestly said is We Don’t Know. An we’ll never know what might have happened at the unfought Battle of the Columbia Pike. Thank you for your candor. Respectfully, W.S.

Grew up south of there. It's crazy how many small battlefields there are around there.

I have so many family members in the 4th Corps. I can't imagine what they went through there. All made it through Spring Hill, Franklin and Nashville. A miracle.

Highly Recommend visiting these areas, especially the visitor's center at the Carter House, to learn more about the Battle of Franklin and the campaign that culminated in it. Eric is thoughtful and knowledgeable on the topic and also published a book on the BoF.

If you are a historian Joseph and Eric can still hold your attention on any given day, any given hour. I have took this tour and left a better historian. Until you walk the ground with Joey and see it for yourself you won't appreciate it. I'm a Rebel to the end, now I see how the mistakes were made. How wore out Commanders and soldiers must have felt hopeless. Go, walk the ground with a tour guide from BOFT. WORTH EVERY DIME. Walked November 2022.

Makes sense these guys lied about what happpend all of those guys were on the side of being about to own people. Not a very far leap from " I own people" to I lied about what happend in the war.
