I just heard the sad news that Al Judy has just passed away. Al was an incredible modeler and loved to share his talents. My deepest condolences to his wife and family. We will all miss him. We had a great time making the videos.Just a wonderful person.
It was very sad to hear the news a couple months ago 😢. Al was a very talented modeler. I was planning on contacting him for some future help with my model railroad. I loved his and still love hospital layouts. He did a piece about 2 years ago almost that is a piece of EBT Railroad that I wanted to either A model it like his or see if he would eventually get rid of it.
Beautiful work by Al Judy! Exquisite pieces by many manufacturers that really shows what you can do with a modelers artistic ability and imagination. Another master at work. Incredible detail that brings color to life. Thanks for another great interview Al!
I just watched your Al Judy video is just amazing with the expert creativity and craftsmanship, etc. seen in every inch built into his layout!! Real sad to hear he has passed! PJR
I grew up in the 60's. I remember those wooden loading docks. They were at the end of sidings on a dead end track to get produce and other goods in locally. Mostly produce though.
Gotta say, this is making me want to add some On30 to my O layout. This is absolutely beautiful. Fun fact, when I saw that NBR&N work car, I thought it looked familiar. I built it in the early 2000’s for a gentleman in New York. Pleasant surprise seeing it.
Gorgeous On30 layout! If you're in touch with Al on a semi-regular (or more) basis, please implore him to open up the Harrisburg June/summer meet to Sn2/n3. There's a bunch of Sn2 guys (I'm one of them) that are dying to set up and run at a show (more than the one time per year that we currently do). Al's been approached about this already and seemed open to it, but might just need a small push the see it through.
There was never a kinder and more talented modeler.

God bless Al. What a talented man.
It’s a gorgeous layout, it should be displayed in a museum!
That building with the rafters and knotty pine has to be an award winning model. This layout is just magnificent. Thanks for sharing 🤘 🤘

straight on quick glance, Al Judy looks like Danny Divito...what a beautiful layout Al!!!
I really like the burnt-out building. I can use this idea for my '3 Finger Freddy's Fireworks Store'.
I reckon you two guys could be locked in a room with trains and never ever be bored absolutely great video with 2 characters
das ist die schönste Anlage die ich je gesehen habe

If it hasn't been mention yet, it reminds me a bit of John Allen's work, from back in the day.
Simply..."S-U-P-E-R-B!" :)
Greate Layout !!
Just heard the sad, sad news of the passing of a Great Model railroader😔
