Damn dude!!!! That was some next level out of the box solutions right there. How is it possible that building can harness all the badassery going on in there? Super impressed 🔥🙌🏼
@@SYLVESTERSCUSTOMS your welcome..Thank you for inspiring future car builders and DYIer's who can't afford to have the privilege to have you work on our cars.
Very Interesting, Excellent as always. I'm no body man, but I had always wondered if this sort of thing was being done as it seems like the only way you could sand complex beads like that. Very Cool, keep it up
@@SYLVESTERSCUSTOMS I willy parked infant of my house yesterday and I was looking at their 3 bead lines, I could see they didn't do a great job blocking it out.
Wow! With an exothermic reaction that high, I am curious of plastic wrap and a 2-Part Epoxy found in bulk. Not knowing the cutting temperatures, many materials would melt. Thanks for another metal tool for the brain box! DK, Omaha, NE.
Xlnt content and tips. Restoring the bed on my 69C10 and the floor raised ribs were a pain.Made my sanding block using epoxy resin. Got so hot it warped! Thru it away and made it multiple layers of body filler, much better! Thnx for ALL your vids! Didn’t know you were near Sandy eggo!👍👍👍
Gives me more ideas for different sanding points on the car...I would use that technique for body lines 😎.. especially when your body lines need stay true and straight or if you have curved body lines like my Monte Carlo.
You can also use equithane horse shoeing product . It is a two part product with various hardness and drying times. Depends on which product you get. It is more of a epoxy product so it will not wear like plastic filler.
Is this product used on a horses hoof that has a stone bruise or crack? Just curious as years removed from the farm, but we had one veterinarian for the entire county. I spent 3 afternoons and part of a weekend at 12-15 to help as he needed it. Wow! You brought back memories. Not many can say using a one-man delivery saddle with a come along ratchet, pulled a calf in half. A couple of clicks then rock a 1,200 lb cow in a shallow creek. I thought it delivered until I walk around and stood in shock. Got the belt for that as well. Doc said it happened to him three times.
I've done this in the past but never thought to mic the thickness of the sandpaper. I would just eyeball it and guess how many layers of tape to put on the panel. Measuring it makes a lot of sense. Thanks!
Great videos and an awesome sanding solution you presented here! I was wondering If you "burn through" to the underlying base DP90 epoxy if you would spot in some more VP2050 before going to final paint or would it be fine to have some DP90 showing?
We call ourselves bodymen and painters, but you prove the process is engineering solutions to specific needs. Great video and nice engineering!
Thank you
I always enjoy your lessons. Thanks for being consistent. I know it takes a lot of time to produce a video but I sure learn a lot.
Yeah these guys are great and at the top of their game.

Thank you very much. God bless
You are so welcome!
Brilliant! Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure!
great idea, I have a bead that I need to do some weld repair to, and I will make a mold like this, great tips.
Go for it!

Thanks 🤗
LeeValley tools make sets of contour sanding blocks. Great for complex sanding areas.
Thank you for the info I just ordered some!!! 👍🏻👊🏻

It is for cracks, and they make a softer compound to make a sole pack for stone bruise.

Dp90 is perfectly fine to paint over 👌🏻
Another great video. One question, where are you getting that extra large mixing board? I've never seen them before
@@gsinon7719 thank you. Made by high tek part number mb200
I've made custom spreaders from countertop laminate. Just about any home improvement store that sells countertops will have free samples.
I'm guessing you probably could use two part epoxy to make a mold might be a lot stronger
Use whatever works 👍🏻
