what a great day you guys had close calls but no damage.the ol cruiser just keeps going would have been fun to drive.we also had a winch rope snap on our last trip had the dampner on but it must have flicked up on recoil and shattered my rear screen.seb is a funny bugger the reduction gears make him a lot more capable.hope he has recovered from his serious injury😷but he needs to toughen up he does drive a patrol haha
+Brent Craddock lol we were thinking of setting of the EPIRB for Sebastien, if I would get the first aid kid out every time my kids have a scratch I could run a medical supply business 😂
If you added the value of all participating cars, it would be up in the hundreds of thousands. And a car that seems to have driven out of a junkyard (no offence) is keeping up with them on a hard trail. Respect!
This Land Cruiser originally came with 205 R16 Tyres which are 29" diameter . I run 235/85/R16 which are 32"and fit land Cruiser rims.I don't go any bigger as I drive 99% of the tracks with no major problems.Have to up grade my winch rope thou.

This track is definitely not for the pretty 4wd's or if your afraid of damaging your 4wd. You'll almost always leave with a scratch or dent somewhere
I would have rubbed dirt on it and went on my way. tiny scrap like that is a daily for me.

Is the 40 on 7.50R16 tyres? He could have a look at upgrading to 225/95/R16 (33") for a bit more clearance.
