I am thankful you showed slowly how to do a back loop stitch , all the videos I've seen saw the back loop then point at behind the top stitch and keep going so I never knew what they were really saying and avoided any patterns that involved a back loop st. Ive made over 10 v st afghans, 5 dc ones, and 3 Chevrons, and now I can finally try this pattern and I'm choosing your pattern here for my friends baby blanket because of how you slowed it down for those like me with literal thinking and functioning autism ❤, so THANK YOU VERY MUCH
Thank you so much! All the yarn details can be found here under "Materials": jototheworld.com/zig-zag-granny-stitch-blanket-crochet-pattern I'm here if there's anything I can do to help!
I am currently working on this blanket in a simple ivory and caramel colored stripe pattern . It is so pretty and easy. This is the first time that I've tried the granny stitch and a chevron blanket. The only challenge that I am facing is that I am having trouble with the loops in the valleys getting too large. Any suggestions? Thanks for sharing!
Hello! Those colors would be wonderful. I'm glad you're finding it easy and pretty. As for the spaces in the valley, because you are skipping the valley cluster space, there will be a space there. You can try making the next stitch (after skipping the valley cluster space) quite tightly. Hope that helps!
