I was one of them, I just couldn't help myself after watching the TV series. I'm a little bit pissed I took notice of all the bad reviews on release, because I'm absolutely loving this game so far.
I’m going to play as SOON as I get home. Hopefully the community being friendly and helpful is true because there’s lots of toxic communities and very little wholesome ones
Played on launch and then never again 😅 recently picking it back up but I'm surprised how many game breaking bugs I've already encountered..still a lot of fun though
First time I played I immediately went and built a janky base, got bored after realizing I must have missed an important npc and had no idea how to progress. Redownloading now…hopefully ends up better this time
Watching as a level 532 and year one player, been back on a for a few days after being gone for close to year. Really enjoyable to get back into and experience the new stuff.
I freaking love 76 is getting lately. I seen much new players. Great job on this tip video DTD Gamer! I really believe this will come in handy for new players.

Came back to this game recently with some friends, and have been really enjoying it. Finished Wastelanders a week or two ago and got my first piece of T-65(chestpiece and jet pack) and have been thinking of branching out and making new builds for my main character like bloodied commando or shotgunner now that he's started to settle in his build. And I still haven't gone on an Expedition(I failed the cooking mini quest when the Pitt first came out because I couldn't find either the salt or the pepper). It had been awhile since I watched your vids, but I've found ones like this and the atom shop weekly offers to be useful and entertaining. My friend made a new character just last night, so I'll have to let him know about some of this stuff like stamps, which I hadn't known about before. Anyways, have a good one, DTD!

Been around since the beta, but it was on and off over the years. Just started playing everyday since January 2024, all the tips you gave are spot on, I have one that may help out new players. I call it "Loot Run", it goes like this. Set aside a day and do nothing but gather resources along with any other parts of the game you deem important to you. I have done this once a week since about April and it helps with getting most if not all of the items i need for crafting and items to sell in my vendor along with getting the various currency in the game. I have managed to generate about 500 to a 1000 atoms just doing this as i switch between builds to complete challenges in the world tab. The part about public teams can be tricky, it can help but sometimes it can be lonely as people enter and leave the team for various reasons. Best if you have three other friends that have the ability to play at the same time you do that way you are sure to get the benefits of the team.
It was free for me on ps+ sometime last year I just never really played it until today. Got about 90 minutes in and decided to hop on TH-cam for guides like this lol.
I love that fallout 76 to getting so much attention now, I didn’t play at launch, but I do know that the launch of the game was pretty bad, but the game has gotten significantly better since then, so it makes me very happy to see that so many players are returning in so many new players are coming into the game breathing life into it once more.
i just downloaded it for the first time today!! Didnt really like 4 and obviously saw how botched 76 was at launch so i abandoned it entirely.... until today!!

Great video bro thanks. I hate when I start playing a new game I like but don't know nothing about it, feels I end up selling my self short😡 even though a lot of times I know it probably really don't matter at first
Great video!! I recently just got back into 76 and man I feel like I forget everything 😂 played it pretty religiously after it launched then kind of forgot about it lol this video helped me tons!
this video was awesome. nice and quick. and a tip for you in return, export your videos in 2560x1440 and youtube will give you a higher quality codec, making your video quality much better
My biggest issue is getting used to repairing weapons. I played FO4 as my first FO game and I am trying to figure out how to use my CAMP, keep my armor and weapons maintained, and find a source of stimpaks and radaway (something it looks like you need in this video)
Use a work bench. You nèed to preesT than R on PC. To repair with scrap. However the repair cost is the same no matter how damaged your weapon. So repair only when your weapon is 10% or less health. Just carry a second weapon. If your under 50 just use whatever weapon you have. For legendary perks ammo smith one is good. Then all the ones that increase Perks. This allows you to use more Perks in your build. And boosts your Special.
Useful guide. As a new player, this is great. I think I have sold things in my vendor too cheap as I once sold a gun for about 1500 then saw the gun in the purchasors vender for over 10k. How do you get proper valuations for items?
They're over charging lol, value stuff by scarcity, did it take you long to get it, is it part of a limited time event, deose it cost lots to make? Regardless it's better to unload stuff cheap to get rid of unwanted stuff faster, your storage is extremely limited
I guess I'm glad there's new people but this mutation week sucks. There's like 3-6 people per server. I didn't have trouble finding people at events before all the new people it's weird. Where did everyone who was already playing go?
Just walk up to any high level (1000+) and ask if they got any non-expensive plans they could spare, they’ll most likely be happy to free up some space, that’s just the fallout community. When I first started I managed to find me a sugar momma to supply me and another dude, I’m sure y’all will be as lucky.
A question ive always had is why do so many high level players keep their health really low and irradiated? Is there a perk for more damage when your health is low or something?
I've watched a few of these type of videos what nobody seems to mention is the actual quest lines. Are they even worth doing or is it all about events? I get there is only maybe 10-20 hours worth of quests but as a beginner I would of thought that these videos would have covered them?
I spoke about them in my previous guide. You have the original questline focused on following the overseer and the scorched plague, wastelanders about breaking in to a vault, the brotherhood of steel questlines, countless side quests and much more! You also have the new addition of the atlantic city quests all of which i would recomend
After watching this n never played any Fallout game, I still have no clue on what to do. All Fallout games seem a bit laborious. Is there a ‘hold my hand’ mode until I get the hang of things? I’d like to play as the feedback lately is largely positive but have no idea where to start, what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Number one seems to be the hardest thing to do for many newer players. For one they think they need to be geared just to join a group and or obligated to join the rest doing whatever the others are doing which is no you don’t not in casual group. Casual group is fantastic group it means more intelligent bonus and more ppl in group the more intelligent u get. You gain more experience aka xp the more intelligence you have.
For me fallout is a vew things. Run away from other players. Hide from other players. Drop all stuf so able to run. And ask 3 questions wat? Where? How? This game is a lot of fun in loading screens afther been shot over and over again .
Reaaaally trying to like this game but goddamn is it making it hard. From frustrating clunky combat, to bugs that should've been ironed out in fallout 4 (getting stuck in entering power armor animation) Doesn't help that the low level weapons all feel like dogshit, everything is a spunge including the player and you spent half of combat backpeddling while reloading. I'd say it's about 50% entertaining, 50% wanting me to ragequit.
@@combativestelth6105 Oh great. Maybe I'll just shelve it for now then. Bought it 3 days ago and despite Appalachia being beautiful and some of the quest I found interesting, the combat is just ruining it.

Ammo and stims having weight is the worst thing about this. I get that it’s realistic, but I hate it. Fallout 4 was more enjoyable. You don’t seem to be able to boost your carry capacity much either.
