God bless Peter Obi. He did a lot for us back then in building structures, computer per student and equipments in school. I believe that the day an Igbo man become a president in Nigeria, this country will become a surprise and envy of many. Igbos are creative, industrious, determined, intelligent, hard working, and they can't be used anyhow by some nations that take advantage of African nations. I'm not saying that other parts of Nigeria aren't good too, but these trends are inherent in every Igbo man. Let the will of God be done.

The interviewer seemed too eager to listen to his own ideas rather than allow the interviewee to express himself freely. A bit disappointing.

I would have expected Okey Bakassi to take Mr. Obi up when he was comparing China to Nigeria when Okey asked him about why governors abandon the projects of their predecessors (2.06-4.18 minutes). I expect Okey Bakassi to remind Mr. Obi that China is a one-party communist State unlike Nigeria, a multiparty democracy. So, there is no basis for comparison and what he said China did is impracticable in a multiparty state.

I love this interview but the interruption from Okey Bakasi is unbearable. My V.p, ideas put to actions is what we really want in Nigeria today. To God be the glory that you have being chosen by the Almighty and all Powerful God to be the vice president of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar under the PDP platform which I am very optimistic that you will take over that office. But when you get there, remember to implement this ideas of yours into actions. Congratulations in advance.

We're talking about a democracy that is well over 20 years - 20years of non-achievement and he's saying Eastern governors didn't or can't do it overnight. The problem is that our governors and politicians lack vision and passion for their state and country. Most Nigerians don't know what countries like China, UAE, Singapore, etc are achieving. Again Peter Obi begged the question on the role of state and LGA in ensuring growth. He placed all on FG who made those policies only for state government to deviate by themselves in the name of opposition and autonomy.
Thank you. State and LGA are closer to the people and have more stake in their state than federal government. He is not clear as to how the system works. He just dances around the reality of things with imbalanced comparisons
