I was ghosted by a girl once. So, no closure. Took me six months to get over it. Nile is right, be an adult, be honest and have a spine! It is cruel and cowardly not to end a relationship face to face and be as careful with the person’s feelings as possible. Put yourself in their shoes! You bring out the best in each other and you complement each other ‘s personality, goals, dreams, daily life just to name a few. The difference in between your relationship with Emily and your past relationships are very clear and it shows when you talk to each other and about the other person. You are forming a relationship that could last a life time. I agree that it is important not to stop being yourself in order to please the other person. You need to have separate and shared interests because as an individual you are constantly evolving and maturing. The same is true in a committed relationship that well survive the test of time and changing circumstances throughout your lives. I have been married for 30 years and it takes work and communication to keep it going and you will disagree at times and many times you will need to compromise on some decisions which are usually minor and you will laugh about later. My husband is my rock when things get tough and I do the same for him. I will admit that he has had to witness a number of really hard and scary situations while I was dealing with multiple life threatening health issues one after another and multiple ones at the same time. You don’t ever imagine seeing your spouse at death ‘s door, battling for their life , or seeing them very altered with tubes and machines keeping them alive. I am blessed that he chose to stick around.

I hadn't done gymnastics properly for years after a scary accident and shortly after finding out that I have genetic disorder that made my vision go from 100% to 5% in just 5 years but your videos from both you and Emily have inspired me to get back into it at age 24! If truly interested in equality, then the first time around, the person initiating the date should be expected to pay, regardless of gender. After that, equity should come into play. As you mentioned, there might be financial differences between the two parties.

Cutting out pasta?!? I'm Mediterranean, born in Barcelona city, and I even lived a couple of months in Rome (ERASMUS) where I used to eat pasta every day, so I couldn't cut it out. In fact, my favourite meal involves some kind of pasta, which are the"Canelons amb ceps" (canelloni with some mushrooms, the scientific name is "boletus edulis"). Us catalans have a mushroom tradition, we have so many kinds, and so many different names: "xampinyons, rovellons, camagrocs, gírgules, llenegues, fredolics, trompetes de la mort, apagallums..."
