    Fantastic layout - on my bucket list to visit. I have a MTH PS2 1218. Had not seen the the Pilot Class A version before. It reveals just how detailed this new Class A is. Now I've got to sell it and get the Visionline 1218.

      Thanks, the layout is in a 12,500 square foot room in an old silk factory. The engines just came in from Lionel and exceeded expectations

    I just look at the VisionLine section of the catalog, and I can find almost anything in there on youtube.

      The Class A was just released and was built to order. Some dealers did makes spec buys.
      Charles Ro and Mr. Muffins Trains have extra Class A’s in stock. My dealer, Dixie Union Station is sold out. Not sure if that answered you questions but yes, you can find build to order products from the 2022 catalogs if you search hard.

    Love everything about to except the tender.

      Remember, Lionel offered 5 or 6 versions. The 1218 is bright and shiny and it the current excursion unit. I took the pre WWII offering so their where plenty to choose from with period specific tenders

    What bothers me about some models is the the return crank barely moves like it’s supposed to in real life. It’s such an issue for that I will not buy models that have a “stiff” looking return crank just like this one has.

    • @kevinmartin9940
      @kevinmartin9940  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s a model and the trade off / limitation means adding feature like that would make the cost way over $2,500.00 so many of us accept these limitations.

      @@kevinmartin9940 it’s such an easy fix though that cost $0…. ????
