I've said before that this is my favorite layout on youtube. Just a ton of action, and the job you did on the scenery is first class! I would love a copy of the plans.
Very nice! That is a real good track plan and the build is very well documented. I like the over/under aspect, as it adds a cool dimension to the running and virtually doubles the length of the main. The sidings and accessories add quite a bit of action and storage to display your trains, which is neat. The cool thing about Lionel is that you can pack a lot of track and accessories into a smaller footprint and it looks just fine, which you can't do in HO. On my layout, which you can see on my Chooch's Trains channel, I've simplified the track plan, to make running multiple trains more of a priority. I've also removed most of the accessories, as they didn't really fit into the theme of the layout. I'm trying to get the new yard and engine house area configured, so I can put down some foam and start scenery. Either way, your layout is quite nice. An excellent video, as always.
Such a wonderful layout. I’m going to have to save some money to buy those switches😂 Will be emailing you 😊 just something about the layout makes it have so much charm
Made a cardboard stripped frame for the mountain, stuffed newspaper under the frame to hold shape, then applied two layers of plaster cloth. Afterwards I filled in gaps and smoothed with hydrocal plaster mix. The cloth and hydrocal were from Woodland Scenics. I did use some foam pieces to support the top areas from collapsing while it was drying.
Nice track plan! I love postwar Lionel and your layout displays those trains perfectly! 👍 😊

I like your layout. Thank you for sharing it. How can I reach out to you to get the any rail track plan?
I can email the file to you. Send me message - john35685 at gmail.
Also, how did you construct the mountain/tunnels?

How big is that layout? Can you share a PDF with a schematic?
Send me a message - john35685 at gmail. I will send you a jpg of the track plan and the AnyRails file of the track plan.
I'll send you both versions - the original with two 4x8 tables and the current with two 6x8 tables.
