My passenger side front door needs to be push in order for me to open the door from outside but opens like normal from inside. Do we have the same problem in your video?
Good morning Motoren Works i have a 1992 bmw E36 318i M40 my central locking just stopped working by itself when i turn the key the door and boot and petrol flap wont open what could be the problem because i suspect maybe the module burnt out

Hello, greeting from Indonesia. I'm so sorry because i don't have the video of rear door lock replacement. The process almost the same. If you want to remove rear door lock, you don't need to dissamble the window, just raise it. In my opinion, you still need to remove the rail (in this video i remove the rail at minutes 03:00 - 03:35).

I don't know if my car has a central locking module, my Haynes manual says some models don't have it and are controlled by the ecu. My immediate problem is how to get into the car with least damage../ expense..
@@upton_ogood i think the problem are in your actuator or door lock mechanism. You can check it by remove the door trim, but i think it must be done by care, because the door can't open
Broo, kalo dikunci dr luar (sisi driver)bisa kekunci semua pintu, tapi kl dr dalem sisi driver gabisa ngunci, kenapa ya. Jadi klo pake remote ga ada yg bisa ke kunci juga. Tks
Pakai remote ya om, berdasarkan dr pengalaman teman2 yg dulu pakai remote, salah satu yg menjadi penyebab central lock error adalah dr pemasangan remotenya. Sy tidak paham jg kenapa bisa begitu

Bisa jadi dari actuatornya om, biasanya ada bagian plastik yang patah, jadi gerakan dari knob pintu tidak ada respon. coba cek dulu actuatornya. sy dulu pernah mencoba menyambung bagian plastik actuator yg patah, tp tidak bertahan lama, sambungannya gak kuat. coba cari dan ganti dgn copotan saja. kalo setelah di cek ternyata actuator tidak bermasalah, bisa jadi problem berasal dr modul central locknya. untuk kasus modul error sy belum pernah mengalami.
Mas kalau pintu di central lock semua mau ngunci, kalau pas buka cuma 1 pintu saja yang kebuka, sama kalau di kunci dari dalam central lock ngga bekerja kira" yang rusak apanya mas?
Karena belum pernah mengalami di e36 sy, menjawabnya hanya reka2 nih mas. E36 nya di bagian perkabelan dan kelistrikan yg berhubungan dengan lock dan unlock pintu masih normal semua? Tidak ada jumperan atau pakai remote?

yanz suryana kalo kaca naik otomatis sebenarnya sy kurang paham jg kang yanz. tapi kalo gak salah, biasanya ada kaitannya dengan modul central lock yg error. Untuk memastikan, coba cek dulu modulnya, atau scan dulu ke bengkel/teman yg punya scanner
Sy jawabnya gak bisa langsung menunjuk ke satu komponen nih mas, harusnya di cek satu2. Masalah bisa dari kunci, actuator, atau mekanis bagian dalam rumah kuncinya. Sharing pengalaman sy dulu. (Kunci) Waktu itu kunci utama tidak bisa digunakan di bagasi, jadi kunci stuck gak bisa di putar untuk mengunci atau membuka. Akhirnya sy iseng untuk menggunakan kunci cadangan, dan Alhamdulillah bisa. Kemungkinannya adalah karena gerigi kunci sudah kegerus jadi tidak bisa sempurna mendorong mekanis bagian dalam rumah kunci. (Mekanis rumah kunci) ini terjadi di rumah kunci sisi penumpang. Sampai sekarang tidak berfungsi, karena setelah saya bongkar ternyata ada bagian mekanis yg sudah rusak. (Actuator) biasanya sih ditandai dengan knob pengunci bagian dalam pintu yg kadang berfungsi dan kadang ngadat. Harus ngecek/ngebongkar actuatornya.
Kalo e36 m43 318 sy. Pintu kanan nutup, gak bisa ditarik handel dalam, dari luar, tarikan yg ke atas juga macet, pake kunci jg gak bisa. Pintu nutup dan gak bisa dibuka samasekali. Solusi nya gimana ya
Sudah coba buka dr kunci bagasi om? Pintu kanan dan bagasi sama2 central lock. Kalo masih belum bisa, coba cek actuator dan door lock. Ketika pintu dalam kondisi terkunci dan tidak bisa dibuka, mau tidak mau harus ngelepas door trim dalam kondisi pintu tertutup. Ngebuka door trim agak sulit, butuh ketelatenan dan kesabaran

Hey I have a 318is coupe 1992, the door operating rod has to be fitted in into a hole in order to open the door from the inside , is there any way to hook it up without taking the door apart or actuator off ?
My 328I E36 1998 Does the same plus beepping sound from alarm system but wont engage and wont open or closed.I checked all fuses and they fine and started opening glove compartment and driver side under steering wheel , checking wiring and modules and so far nothing. Anybody had this problem, please let me know. thx

Just replaced my actuator. It was not hard once I just removed the door latch without it I could not have done it.
They make a thing, it's called an Impact Wrench.

I have a e36 compact (m43),the central locking has failed, key turns as normal but doesn't open car, I am locked out! Any suggestions or help? Thanks
In my opinion, if your central locking module is good i think you must check the actuator on your drive side door

You still have this problem? Try to push into driver door while open/close, there is a button on the latch that is worn
