You can hear the LIGOSA sound (production team of Mark Liggett and Chris Barbosa) in Shannon's first two albums. They always had that amazing production and melancholic/dance style. If you like Shannon, you should listen to the artist MONET (her album, "Leave the Lights On" was produced by Ligosa and they even used Jimi Tunnell who sang all of the backups for Shannon). Monet's album is like the perfect third album that Shannon should have released (but never did since she decided to work with other producers and change up her style). Just search for Monet's tracks "My Heart Gets all the Breaks," "Give Into Me," and "Come on to Me" on TH-cam. You won't be disappointed. Also, Ligosa did quite a few one-off dance singles like "Madness" by Zee, "Pucker Up" by Lip Service, and albums for George Lamond.

Until Micheal Jackson came out with the Thriller album and his record label threatened to pull their funding if MTV didn't play the "Billy Jean" video and seeing how his label was a major contributor, they folded. This track has a pitch error in the very beginning. When I first heard it on cassette I thought it was a classic tracking issue, but when I later bought the vinyl it was still there so it's in the master. I don't mind, it only adds a unique feature to the song. It's there in my memory vault.

I’m so glad my family is all deceased and my old school friends are officially out of my life for causing me so much trouble throughout my life. I have no more of there drama & problems anymore.
