- NEW MOVIE WORLD RIDES - Flash Speed Force, Wizard of Oz Land and more! Movie World Gold Coast Update! Warner Bros. Movie World is a Theme Park on the Gold Coast in QLD, Australia!
We pop in to the park briefly at the end of the day for a quick update! We check out progress on Wizard of Oz land and Flash Speed Force, and check out construction on a brand new Arcade coming to the Kids WB area! We also say goodbye to Batman Legacy, which is closing soon, and see if anything's happened yet to the infamous Doomsday Destroyer. We then wrap up the video by checking out the park from our TopGolf angle, and we notice some cool new stuff for Wizard of Oz land!
Wizard of Oz is Movie World's new land, opening late 2024. It will have a lot of theming, and two new Roller Coasters: Flight of the Wicked Witch, and Kansas Twister! One is a Vekoma suspended family coaster, while the other is a Vekoma Dueling Family Coaster.

Lot going on at Movie world at the moment. Waiting Patiently for The Scooby Doo multi million dollar upgrade to be done (Hopefully they get it done next year).

Oh yes I cant wait any longer for the Scooby ride to reopen again, but hopefully it'll be worth it.

Thanks for this great update, TPO! I want to take a moment to commemorate DC Rivals Hypercoaster's two month closure for its annual maintenance. I got to ride it forwards about 6-7 times and backwards 3 times the other day as it would be my last day riding it until it reopens. I'm also predicting they'll repaint the drop and the large camelback hill this year, if not the twisted camelback, helix and bunny hops at the end. I'll miss you DC Rivals!!
Thank you! I forgot about Rivals maintenance. Yeah, I expect we'll see more repainting - and hopefully a fix to the Joker's toothy grin!

Best theme park reporter ever thanks for following me on instagram! It means a lot to me! I’ve heard with the Batman legacy that’s it will be replaced just not with movie props and costumes, wonder what it could be? Can’t wait for the flash and wizard of oz to open!
Thank you! I've heard from a few people that it may not reopen as an attraction and just be for back of house storage - I hope not!

always good to get back to movieworld and I LOVE the new construction wall for wizard of oz land indeed looks cool the concept art looks sick, and The flash speed force looks so awesome love how you got the flash and wolverine together chasing I hope we get an arcade in wb kids land It will be cool!! (i am glad they got to be doing more construction on it) it needed a new soundtrack wb kids land the batman legacy had its run I loved the showcase great to see the props in the building, goodbye batman! (i wonder if anything new will go in hopefully) looks cool of the flash speed force lighting gotta love the green lantern lighted up thats sick!

Thank you! Here's hoping they replace Batman with something, but it's not looking likely sadly. I'm interested in seeing how they do the arcade - hopefully it's themed! Love all the recent progress!
