getting a "Tablet pro" software for windows is quite a game changer. Not only it lets you set up quick hotkeys on the side for specific apps but also lets you isolate the excessive touches that windows notifications and windows bar can have. Best one time purchase I made with my sp9.
I had already watched your review about Huion studio16 and it was really crucial to me to direct my final decision to purchase it because it was very honest in pointing with the same strength the good and bad side of this device. Personally I feel that windows OS is really important because not only I can share easily my work with my desktop but I can also decide to make a preliminary sketch about comics or design (I'm an architect designer) and keep working on it on my desktop later on. Somehow I love working with My Intuos Pro and my BEN Q UHD 32 inches monitor so I loved the idea to purchase a device capable to disrupt my workflow with something new and this Kamvas studio 16 seem perfect for it. 😊
Talk about using a Windows tablet, Remote Desktop is a nice feature that most people don't know about. It also works with a stylus. You can operate on your desktop computer while in another room or outside. When you have a solid wifi connection, the latency is very low. I used it a lot when I was still mostly using a Windows tablet.

There is sometime a little issue with the power button...Nothing annoying but you need sometimes to keep pressing it a bit long to switch on the device. I have tried this Kamvas with Photoshop - Krita - TV Paint - Toon Boom Harmony and Video Pad Editor. It worked really smoothly and honestly I was not expecting this because I thought the specs were not enough. Instead it is not bad at all. The pen sensitivity is fantastic and the palm rejection amazing. I suggest to buy immediately an USB C adaptor with an HDMI and USB A port so you can connect your Kamvas with anything you desire. Personally I love the idea to carry only a small bag and have what I need to work. I use also the mini keydial Huion and it is really cool. You can set many short cuts and you can make your work very smooth. It is really important to consider always a bag (Huion or anything compatible) because the screen need to be protected. I generally use the Huion bag very slim and I put this inside my backpack...🙂
I have tab s8 plus and as pg student after doing mbbs its great for my work i love this chanel as your chanel indirectly shows no device is perfect we have to chose which works best for us amazing job
If its portability for lap sketching, I would say the S8. I would probably get a 24" Xencelabs over the Huion as its too heavy to draw on your lap so I would just stick with the desk working environment in that case.

One little thing you didn't mention (or I didn't hear about it) is that the Galaxy Tab s8 Ultra can also work as a pen display with the app Superdisplay. So, if you already have a computer, the Samsung allows you to use those programs as well, but when you want to take it with you somewhere, you can still use amazing drawing programs such as CSP, or Infinite Painter, or Concepts.
I personally use Superdisplay. I like it a lot but the colors change a lot in comparison to my LG monitor. So I have to check my colors on my monitor while I am drawing.
Great comparisons! I've had a Galaxy Tab S7 and a Cintiq Companion and neither of them have worked out for me. I make comics, websites and do graphic design so I need something with an attached keyboard. The Galaxy can be connected to a keyboard but Android is indeed too limited for anything other than just plain drawing. I'm now trying a 13" 2 in one tablet pc with a huion keydial and that same tablet stand you're using with your Galaxy. It'll be a while before i can say how i feel about it.
Interesting! I'm an "old-fashioned" artist who's done cartoons on paper only, and looking to become "digitalized" because that's how things are now. Do you upload your comics to photoshop or illustrator for more adjustments? This Huion looks like the way I'll take for starters, we'll see how it goes. 🙂 Thanks for your comment.
Some things to note: if you already own a samsung galaxy book they seamlessly sync as a second monitor giving you access to clip studio paint, and also allowing you to store files directly onto PC

I actually got one but haven't been able to shift from MacBook, the overall user experience on Windows still doesn't allow to use it on the desk properly, for me at least. Maybe you have had better experience with them.
Those 2-in-1 where you can fold the display to the back 360 usually don't have good drawing performance. There are some exceptions of course, e.g. those from Samsung.

CSP is designed as a desktop app with many small buttons and palettes so it's actually best used with a keyboard. There is this app called "Tablet Pro Studio" which adds big buttons (for Windows OS) by the side so you can hide CSP buttons and use the big buttons instead.
If you're just drawing, S8 Ultra is on par with iPad Pro. If you have to do graphic design work (typography, vector, layout), iPad will have those graphic design apps. In short, choose based on the apps you want to use.
If you don't know anything about drawing, get the book "Keys to Drawing" by Bert Dodson. Most drawing apps on tablet are pretty easy to use. You can use the lessons from the book to draw with the app or on actual pen and paper. Once you know the basics, then you can check out app-specific tutorials on digital drawing techniques. There are many tutorials on TH-cam. Just search for the app name, then technique you want to learn. There are many capable drawing apps on Android so it's not really necessary to go with SuperDisplay just to use drawing apps from Windows, unless of course one really needs the features of those Windows-based drawing apps.

If you're just drawing, S8 Ultra is on par with iPad Pro. If you have to do graphic design work (typography, vector, layout), iPad will have those graphic design apps.

@@abdelrahmanosama3264 I recommend you get at least 128GB storage. Because 64GB after installing some apps will probably leave you with only 40GB+
