HELP US NAME the Kubota 🧡 Leave all your suggestions below in the comments. Cannot wait to see all the GOOD ones you come up with (PS it’s orange 😉). What a game changer for moving material and getting jobs done. If you’ve got some tractor knowledge you want to share we’re all ears. Thank you for reaching out with concern regarding the wildfires. We’re safe and not in the evacuation zone… Sadly they’ve been destructive and we’re thinking of everyone who’s been affected. The province is finally seeing some rain- hoping it will help slow it down and help those working hard to fight the fires 😢
Hey y’all, beginner tips! Always rest the bucket back onto the ground when not in use (hydraulics), also, tilt the bucket towards the ground so that if it rains the water streams off into the ground and doesn’t collect and sit in the bucket (rust). If you’re working in tight spaces you can put little flags on both sides of the bucket to help you not hit things, another good one is put a colourful piece of tape on the bucket rod so that you can use that to tell you when the bucket is level with the ground. Super useful if you’re working alone
I’m so happy for you both!! The pure joy on your faces was awesome ❤ My vote for tractor name is Bizzy B. Bizzy for Bella and Izzy, B for b26, and that she will help you both be busy bee’s working so hard to build up your beautiful home
6/4/23 - Tractor Name- 'BRUTUS" !! So happy for y'all, will really be a game changer as far as labor is concerned , Enjoy your vided's & have followed you Ladies from the beginning!! One other thing girls, Keep your tractor Serviced according to specs & keep it CLEAN , check your hydraulic hoses OFTEN !! Chas.,SC
I know I'm a year late - but when you asked for a name suggestion, I immediately thought of BLAZE!! Because it's a B26, but also because she allows you to blaze through hard physical tasks. She's a beautiful strong beast!
Orange Crush…. Love watching you ladies every Sunday and your adventures, struggles and successes. Thank you for the entertainment and giggles! Much respect from Loveland Colorado ❤
You guy’s excitement over a tractor (or umbrella hats) just makes me rethink my perspective on everything in life. You are happiness personified! I have been binge watching all of your videos for the last weeks like I would watch a Netflix show! You just rock ! (No pun intended) I just love your energy, positivity and excitement at trying new things. Thank you for your incredible videos, really. You are goal. Love from France 🫶🏼
Absolutely awesome Jaz & Crystal!!! A Yoda-Kabota is terrific add to your homestead. As Yoda says " There is no try .. only do " , you can accomplish much more now in a shorter period of time enabling yourselves to enjoy all the things that are around you more than ever. Izzy & Bella look happy as well with what you are doing around the garden area .. Catch ya on the flip side ..🐾🐾 Paws Up 🐾🐾 .. Cheers.
I love that every video you two post, the amount of love you two have for each other shines brighter and brighter. You can tell that you two are very much in love and it's freaking adorable.
It’s the Orange Blossom Special! Orange for the color, Blossom for everything you planter and your property is blossoming beautifully, and Special because it takes special people to accomplish what you both are accomplishing. ❤️ Technically the orange blossom special was a train. My grandfather use to play a song with the same name on his violin
Your commitment to making your home enjoyable for the two of you and your viewers is exciting. I would like to share with you one thought of caution. Where you have brought your wood chips up close to your structures, make a gap so that the chips are not holding the moisture at the base of your treasures (hot tub, sauna, wood siding, etc.) as it will promote early wood rot and attract insects that also like to feed on fresh wood. Placing the chips up against the structures creates a super highway for them.
Congrats on the new addition to your homestead family! Every off grid home should have a Kubota. Since Persimmon is a shade of orange, you could call her Persimmon, or just shorten it to “Percy” 🍊 Can’t tell you how happy I was to see your video today, as I was worried about the fires in Nova Scotia. Do you get any of the smoke drifting your way? So glad to see you are ok and still enjoying life to the fullest. xx 💕😘
I love watching your videos each week. Seeing the love you share is so enjoyable! Your place looks awesome! I think you should name the tractor Joy because of of how happy it has made you! Thank you for sharing your lives with us!
Water those cedars regularly, it is surprising how much water they take. Remember they grow near water sources so they love water. Remove any discolored foliage. What a wonderful home you have created.
Congratulations to the new toy!! It was something missing all this time for you your homestead. Since your tractor is orange and it brightens the area and brings a big smile on both of your faces how about naming it “Sun kiss”. It’s bright like the sun in the woods and brings a smile to you guys when you use it.
Congrats on the new tractor. I bought the same one a few years ago and I love this thing. Here are a few observations/tips for you. Before you try to lock or unlock the boom pull the left stick toward you to make it easier to engage or release. When in backhoe mode, slightly lift the front wheel with the bucket for better stability. If you want to convert the backhoe hydraulics to excavator controls you will need to move hydraulics hoses around. If you plan to improve the loader ability to dig, install a tooth bar its very useful. And don t forget to grease every 10 hours!!!!!
Congratulations ladies! I love my Kubota! she's a 3650 I wouldn't want to be without her that's for sure. Have fun and be safe. P.S. She doesn't like to start in the winter when it gets super cold. So I just tarped it and slid a little heater in there, but you may want to consider a block heater for the winter months. Your"bucket" is a front-end loader. I have a front-end loader too, but I don't have a backhoe wish I did, I have a back blade.I always make sure the bucket on the loader is upside down and then lower it to the ground when shutting down so it doesn't get rained in and rust. Then twirl the handle (Not sure what that is called) Joystick? to release the pressure on the hydraulics. Not sure if it's necessary, it's just what I do. That is all I can think of right now. I am sure someone better than me will chime in if I am not right. Can't wait to see all you do with yours! 🚜🚜🚜
The pressure bypass is to release line pressure to connect and disconnect articulated attachments like a snow blower, jack hammer or fence post driver.
You are all awesome!! I am glad you got the tractor; it will make life so much easier. Tip from my experience with that model: Be careful when picking up/moving heavy things with the forks. The back tires can come off the ground; be especially careful over uneven/hilly terrain.
Love seeing you both literally giddy over your tractor. Because of that, my vote is for naming her "Giddy" (which, if thinking about that cowgirl reference, can also be used for..."Giddy up!")
Yes!! Your tractor is the perfect addition to your homestead equipment ... and definitely a back and body saver with all the lifting and moving you two do while creating your amazing homestead! She's a magnificent orange color ... like a ginger cat ... maybe call her Ginger??? The way she claws those rocks out of the ground, she can certainly dig like a kitty!! 😽🧡
Loved this video! So good to see you ladies feeling better. Praying that the fires in your area have stayed clear of your property🙏🏼 The tractor is awesome! How about naming her “Tigress”?! The orange and black made me think of a tiger 🐅 - of course a female! Or you could make it fun and name it “Tigger” from Winnie the Pooh 😄❤️
Yay for a new tractor!! Definitely a game changer. I love your umbrella hats and the glove diggers! Who would’ve thought. You two always make me smile and laugh. Place is looking great, keep crushing it ladies!! 🤍✨🚜 Stay safe and see guy next Sunday.
I am pleased to see you both fully fit again. Love watching you both learning to drive the tractor, it will make life a lot easier. My Sunday is now complete, Love from Mike. ❤❤
Happy for you two ...your lives and homestead will so dramatically change over this summer. I just got a tractor last fall and the quality of life on my whole homestead changed for the better
Absolutely love seeing you girls so happy ❤ Another awesome video ❤ Enjoy learning how to operate your tractor and be safe ✌🏼💚💡 PUMPKIN for tractor’s name❤😊
I wish that I had the chance to do life over again! I would love to do it "your way" . I was brought up on a small farm in mississauga ont. Way back when! Life was so much simpler then! I have 2 boys ages 53 & 57 ...raised them on my own after my husband left due to his affair. It was a rough time at 39 and have to raise boys then 13 & 17 On my own. I have had 4 un successful marraiges....all cheated...now I am on my own...and 79 yrs old....and have had a stroke. I wish for you gals to enjoy your life.....keep one another safe...you are a true blessing and I adore you both!
Congratulations! It's great that you got a used tractor in great shape, and learned so quickly to operate it. Lovely to see everything coming together so quickly now.
OKAY, I have been impressed with everything y’all have done but this week is by far the best!! Your transformation of the outdoor space is amazing!! I would hire you in a heartbeat if I lived there. There’s so many good names for the tractor, I’m looking forward to seeing what you choose!!
Kelly Kubota works, my EV is called Leah Leaf. OK, so I name everything, it amuses my friends and family. Please ladies, never change, you have so much joy in your lives that you share and we all love you for it. Stay safe xx
This was awesome. Congratulations on your to "Sweets" tractor. ( That's my choice for her name). Your place is looking great. Looking forward to see what the summer holds! As always thanks for taking us along for the ride. ❤️
I love the new tractor ,once you really get to handle it like pro's it's going to save you so much time, you can spend more time enjoying yourselves with new projects or whatever pleases both of you ! Love you girls to the moon and back, can't wait for next Sunday to see what's new !
Congrats on the new tracter! My name suggestion for it is BIG MAMA :) You girls are so inspiring! About 5 months ago, I had to go pick our olives (100 olive trees) because we couldn't find helpers (and I'm a drama queen and don't like to go olive picking! LOL). It took us (my husband and myself) 12 days to pick the olive trees with practically no helpful equiptment (just our hands, a saw and an olive harvester). So every morning I would get out of bed at 5am and to boost me up, I'd say: "Jaz and Chrystal would tell you "You've got this girl!" ~ Our total harvest was 1.2 tons of olives which came out to 400 kilos of extra virgin olive oil! I wish I could find a way to send you guys some just because you inspired me to finish up the task that I dreaded! If you're ever in Greece, let me know and I could hand deliver! :D Have fun with your new tracter! See you next Sunday! xo
I have the BX25 Kubota. LOVE tractor life too! Welcome to the Kubota family!! I love it most for the winters and snow removal!! I help all my neighbors on my street unpack the snow from the plows. Absolute life saver!!
I can't imagine working in the rain without a heavy rain slicker, pants, hood and boots. As a kid back East I had one of those bright yellow ones. I felt invulnerable in them, even in the worst rain and wind I stayed dry.
I had tears of joy watching today, you ladies make my Sunday's. My cheeks get a workout every Sunday and Wednesday. Tractors name "Orange Julius" or as I thing Julius or short Jules or back in the day Lawson's delivery truck called the Big O to get that orange juice to Lawsons in 40 hrs.
Why am I not suprised, you girls are the true definition of "Girls can do anything^ Proud of you both. Oh by the way your grpunds are looking smashing with the spread woodchips. Fantastic
Brilliant! brilliant! brilliant! What a great addition to make life easier. I think you should call her Clementine too is she is your darling & you would sing the song everytime you used her & that would be fun & keep putting a smile on your faces. It's such a joy watching you two. You enjoy life so much. Your use of the claw gloves was hilarious. Happy new tractor! ❤🎉🎉🎉
@@Vanwives Oh my darling, Oh my darling, Oh my darling Clementine We are going to move some wood chips You make it easy Clementine. Oh my darling, Oh my darling, Oh my darling Clementine we are picking up some rocks now We're so grateful for Clementine. etc etc
2 thoughts: Name - "Wineskin Bota" & think about building "it" (him or her?) a house for the winter. Diesels love shelter if you plan on starting it when cold. Congrats on the new addition - many years of enjoyable work saving ahead!
Championnes de la conduite de 🚜 bravo les filles, vous êtes adorables et amusantes. Bonne continuation et courage votre maison devient de plus en plus magnifique.👏👏👍👍🇫🇷😘
You can switch from backhoe mode to excavator mode by switching 4 hydraulic lines at the back of our tractor. I'm a 30 tonnes excavator operator and that is what I do when I have to use those small tractor with the backhoe bucket at the back.
If you don’t like the control pattern on the backhoe you can swap 4 hoses. There are 2 standard patterns for the controls, look up a hose diagram and swap hoses. The larger commercial machines use electronic valves to change back and forth. There are several TH-cam videos on how to do it.
Tango, (tangerines are orange color, ready to tango as in tractor dancing, tan as a shade of brown representing the tree bark, foliage etc., go as always ready to go get some work done. Super happy for yous, this is one big beauty that will better your lives from saving your backs and and other muscles, time and money. Valuable investment. I dream to visit your sweet oasis one day 🤗🤗🐾🐾
if you hold pressure on the lever as you pull the digger are up with the controls as it bounce towards you it will latch it self. you girls are so amazing
Your unbridled enthusiasm is contagious! Spring is a great season for dreams, and seeing them come true.Candian Tractor Girls you're estate is thriving.I can't imagine you ever tearing yourself away for a road trip without thinking "hmmm if we had a trailer we could take it with us and restore beauty and balance to the 🌎.Peace safety and good health to you and yours.
Girls, orange you glad you got this tractor? It will be a lifesaver in so many ways. As for a name call it Digger. Great video showing the versatility and time saver this tractor is.😊
Safety first!!! Fill the tires with non freezing liquid to add ballast for tip over safety. Pull back the main arm control then push lock in or out for travel mode.
Well, I really like both Clementine and Beatrice for your new tractor's name... But - I'm thinking since you will be talking about it a lot that Clementine is the easier one - Clem for short. "Hey - let's get Clem to do that for us!" You two rock - love ya and so glad to be part of the Pack! Very happy to hear the fires aren't affecting you!!! ❣
I am so happy for you guys. I was hoping you could afford one. And it'll save you so much time, energy,. Also will help you with keeping a road open. It may want different attachments.. PS. If it's well maintained, you will be amazed how many hours you will get on that.. Take care. Enjoy.
Crystal/Jasmyn; Save your money so you can buy some winter curtains for the Kubota so you can use it in the winter to clear the snow from the driveway and you wont get cold operating it. I hope it might have a heater in it just to keep you warm also but I’m sure you will have many years good luck with it ❤. Love you both 💋💋💋💋😊
One other suggestion I had a 100 gallon tank for our Kabota, This saves on going for 1 or 2 fuel runs. You can get diesel fuel delivered to your home and can be locked up only for your use. Same thing applies to gas for the other devices.
❤Yes!! Beatrice great name! Just a suggestion that your crossbars on your arch need to be on the top it’s upside down. It will hold up better in the long run by supporting the long supports it will keep shape and be there for years to come !
I don’t know if the B26 has a “float feature on the loader but if it does it is super handy for back dragging/ Leveling on our b3030 you just push the bucket lever to “dump” then an extra click more puts her into float mode. Now you can back up and the bucket just follows the ground contour. A Landscape rake is also super handy!

For greenery, flowers on your arch, about planting grapes. The dark blue ones. You'll get it all - green, flowers and fruits.

Congrats on the new tracter! My name suggestion for it is BIG MAMA :)
You girls are so inspiring! :D
Have fun with your new tracter! See you next Sunday! xo
That sounds so amazing! ( in spite of the hard work) I’ve never seen an olive tree, but love to eat them. Greece is on my bucket list! 🇺🇸
How about naming her Koby, short for Kubota Simple but makes sense So happy for you two
I have the BX25 Kubota. LOVE tractor life too! Welcome to the Kubota family!! I love it most for the winters and snow removal!! I help all my neighbors on my street unpack the snow from the plows. Absolute life saver!!
To the person reading this, even though I don't know you. I wish you the best of what life has to offer 🙏 😊❤
Thanks brother ❤❤😊, likewise.
@@Kenny-ep2nf ❤️❤️🤗
So happy you two visited Ambition Strikes. It brought me here to subscribe and power watch all your wonderful videos. You’re amazing!
Awe Tom thanks for your kind words. Happy we could make you laugh and have a giggle. 🧡🐾
Orange Blossom Special is our suggestion. We absolutely love watching you every week. Keep up the amazing work.
Nickname could be Blossom or the "OB"
How about Clementine for your wonderfully orange tractor! So happy for you hardworking ladies! Woo Hoo!
Crystal is literally the cutestes little ball of joy! She is so wholesome and happy 🥺
Welcome to the Kubota Family!
We have a Kubota BX23S that has a backhoe as well. It has saved us countless hours of work. Congratulations!

Brilliant! brilliant! ❤🎉🎉🎉
Well thank you for caring and sharing. Love the name and the meaning behind Clementine. Happy we could make you smile.🧡🌞

You ladies have done a fantastic job on your homestead. I really like the drone footage showing all the work that you have done. God bless you both.
I love, love, love the gloves with finger shuvals!! Great garden gift for Crystal!
How about “Wanda, (I Wanda what she’s going to do next)”.
I’m happy to see that you guys are all safe from the fires.
You guys rock ❤
Girls, orange you glad you got this tractor? It will be a lifesaver in so many ways. As for a name call it Digger. Great video showing the versatility and time saver this tractor is.😊
Digger is a great name David!🧡🐾
Safety first!!! Fill the tires with non freezing liquid to add ballast for tip over safety.
Pull back the main arm control then push lock in or out for travel mode.
Well, I really like both Clementine and Beatrice for your new tractor's name... But - I'm thinking since you will be talking about it a lot that Clementine is the easier one - Clem for short. "Hey - let's get Clem to do that for us!" You two rock - love ya and so glad to be part of the Pack! Very happy to hear the fires aren't affecting you!!! ❣
Good for you girls. Maintenance is key. I am sure you girls will be expert tractor mechanics in no time.
"Pumpkin" is the best orange tractor ever....Congrats C & J Construction.
I am so happy for you guys. I was hoping you could afford one. And it'll save you so much time, energy,. Also will help you with keeping a road open. It may want different attachments.. PS. If it's well maintained, you will be amazed how many hours you will get on that.. Take care. Enjoy.
Crystal/Jasmyn;
Save your money so you can buy some winter curtains for the Kubota so you can use it in the winter to clear the snow from the driveway and you wont get cold operating it. I hope it might have a heater in it just to keep you warm also but I’m sure you will have many years good luck with it ❤. Love you both 💋💋💋💋😊
Yes, with the fires in N.S. this past two weeks I think a second way out should be a priority. More Tractor fun!
Lovee that Jasmine's hat matches the tractor !! Oh and maybe name the tractor "Tangerine Titan" coz its orange and powerful 🧡🧡🧡
Harriet, the beautiful orange chariot! ❤ watching the two of you make your dream life in the woods.
