I need have with 3 questions: 1. How do you unclip the trunk arm? 2. After removing about 10 clips, how do you remove the yellow emergency lever under the trunk door? Thanks
The trunk arm plastic had one “christmas tree” holding it in. Remove that, then the black plastic covering the are is two separate pieces. Slowly pry them apart. Yeah its a-lot of clips lol, I ended up looking up a video on TH-cam for that part. If I remember right I think its pushed in and to unclip it you have to push in either side of the bottom where its clipped in and it will pop off towards you.
Hi, I ended up buying the same system as yours and got the radio and Car play to work. On the back up camera, following your video, I got it to work too, EXCEPT the green, yellow, red lines are not moving as I turn. I didn’t even see those lines in your video.
Hi, thanks for the great video. My 2003 has factory navigation and Mark Levinson amplifier. Do you think this kit and the TYTO-01 wiring harness would fit/work?
Hmm, most likely it will need this harness But to be 100% enter all your info on crutchfield or metra electronics online and see which harness they recommend.
You will be cutting off the plugs that come with the radio. Then connecting the same exact color of wires to each other with the harness that is in the description. For the amplifier from the factory to work, you have to hook up the blue and white wire to the red wire from the Aftermarket harness in the description.
is there an SD card slot in this tablet? USB plug means you can play mp3s off a flash drive? Does the tablet have a built-in microphone? or does it have to rely on external ugly mic? is google maps responsive? or laggy? I see on aliexpress, the cheapest one comes with 4gb ram, 32gb flash, 720p qled screen for $90.
I do not remember an SD Slot, there is a USB connection where you can play from a flash drive im guessing. It does not have a built in mic i had to use a external one.
Hey so I just installed this system and for the most part it works well, however I’m noticing the Bluetooth has a spotty connection. Any ideas and suggestions on what I can do to fix it? The radio quality is good and everything else is working well I’m just having issues with Bluetooth
I wanna say its may be an issue with the actual receiver. I would try restoring it back to factory settings. Then from there if it still does not work I would disconnect from my phone then try to reconnect.
It’s not too confusing. I was looking like crazy to find where I can connect the blue amp wire to because their was no instructions. I did what he said and it worked. But I am stuck on the part where he said there is no “video coming out from the radio”. If he meant theirs no adapter for video out on the harness then mines different. Bought the same kit different company but mine has video out on the harness.
@@reljackson258I just told you… no you do not. The blue and white wire go connected to your red wires that are on the dash kit. I was going to make a thorough video on installing cable by cable but too much work lol.

As far as maps, I used apple maps and it was not laggy at all. Very responsive!

Do these have ports for amplifiers and or subs?
Yes, it has inputs for all of that. Its part of one of the harnesses they provide that plugs right into the radio.
Your video is confusing
What are you stuck on?
