There is a tool that comes with the new clutch disk, that gives you the exact measurement for each of the springs. It rests on the springs, and you adjust each spring until the measurement is exact. Then tighten the jam nuts to hold it. Recheck the measurement once the bolts have been locked in place. You will need a very thin 7/16 wrench to hold the bottom bolt. I repaired many if these when I worked for IH. The engine does not have to be removed to remove the clutch. When done, adjust the mower engagement rod, so it just makes contact with the center button when engaged.
Can you help me with this very issue. Shops around me tell me they dont have the speciality tool to fix my clutch plate lol. 2 of the busiest shops in town, duno how to fix my 127...

There's no need to use a block of wood to rotate the clutch hub. Just grab the hub with your hand and tap the center button at the same time to momentarily rotate the hub. And how's it going to spark when there's no power going to the ignition???
You don't have a clue as to what your doing. You never mentioned the anti rattle springs were missing as you removed the clutch . Hopefully you will replace them " if not the clutch disk will rattle and could break off the fingers of the PTO Disk .

@@megatron7057 if you don't have the tool / guage you can't adjust the clutch properly.
