I got mine last week. I loved it. But today, my third time using it, it failed. I can’t get it to work again. Not sure what’s going on. I did do a little research on the ground cable. It’s for solvents
Yup, ground cable is for solvents. So when you pull the trigger, nothing happens at all? And the battery is charged? That sounds like a faulty gun. If you got it from a sherwin Williams I would call them and see if there’s a local place that works on them
I would say it’s diy but I would recommend reading up on the directions of you’ve never sprayed before just to be familiar with how it works. You want to spray some water through first to clean out whatever material was stored in it, then switch to paint/primer and make sure to prime the pump first and then spray, and making sure you’re using the correct tip, paint and settings for what you’re doing. After playing around a bit i believe you’d pick it up
Nice vid mate , would you recommend it for spraying coving (crown moulding ) throughout average sized houses twice a week ? Or do you think that would be over working the unit ? Do you need a mask or was there hardly any over spray ?
Thanks man! I think this would be a great sprayer for interior trim. I don’t think it would be overworking the unit. I do typically wear a mask when spraying so I’d still recommend it especially when spraying higher trim. It’ll put overspray in the air. Can adjust it with the tip and adjustment on the back of the gun so there’s not a bunch of overspray but there will still be some.
Great video! For those who are familiar with the last edition hand held, this is just the next generation of handheld sprayers. Graco took the weight of the gun with materials that became heavy after prolonged use and replaced it with just the gun that you hold.
The finish is pretty much the same as the Graco ultimate handheld sprayers. Haven’t sprayed HVLP in awhile but I would say it’s a pretty similar finish
I’ll be spraying with this Friday, I’ll download a db reader and test to see. It’s definitely not quiet. I would say it’s similar to the handhelds. Maybe slightly louder
I saw the dB level on the spec sheet before they released it and figured it would be an issue. It's not hearing safe without ear pro, especially two feet from your ear.
This was my first use with it. Now after a year and many more uses, I love it. I still wish the cup was bigger and the hose was a little longer but I still love it
Congrats! It’s an awesome sprayer! Gallery is the paint I use for cabinets! I actually have a video of us testing it out using the quick shop and I find a good system to get a great finished product
Yeah I went through a couple pumps and a cord on the handhelds. From what I understand Graco said the quick shot pump will last 600 gallons which is like triple what they said the handheld will last
I don’t think I’d use it for painting walls, it could would but this sprayer is great for painting a cabinets / vanities especially in place when refinishing kitchen cabinets
As a professional painter I don’t trust this little rigs. I had a horrible experience with the handhelds where they were to delicate and stoped working at the second day . Get an air assist sprayer for cabinets it’s worth the money
I’ve had good experiences. I had a couple issues with handhelds, the first issue was 1 year after buying it the pump went bad and it was because I was cleaning it with hard water and never used pump armour. Second issue was the brand new gun I got had a leak and it was mixing air with the paint but they swapped the gun out for me. Other than that they have been pretty good for me. The quickshot has also been great. Especially situations where I’m only spraying 2-3 cabinets and a few doors and trim

Is it ungodly loud or it that just the video?
I’m going to test the db’s Friday to see that it reads
Love mine. I hope they integrate that electronic gun into other machines. Really helps with spitting. It's a little money maker.
I love mine you can use the DeWalt 20 v battery it's compatible
Ground cable if you spray solvent :)
I found this out later on haha Thank you!
Is it a product a diy can use or do you need to be used to spray painting?

@@DullenWoodworking That's great i think i will buy one then , much appreciated 👍
Graco appears to be ready to stand behind this one for hard use. But time will tell.

Thank you!
Whats the overspray loke?
It definitely has a decent overspray. It would have less with a different tip in it. I used a 210
how is the finish?
Is it much of a difference with an HVLP?
The finish is pretty much the same as the Graco ultimate handheld sprayers. Haven’t sprayed HVLP in awhile but I would say it’s a pretty similar finish
Sounds a little bit noisy ? How many db ? More than 85 ?

@@DullenWoodworking thanks for answering,I’ll follow, good luck

I posted the video with the Db test a week or so ago!
For that price you’d expect more than “it’s not bad”.

@@DullenWoodworking awesome thank you! Bout to order it myself.
@@DullenWoodworking I got it yesterday. Quick question, have you tried spraying Sherwin-Williams Gallery yet? What’s your favorite cabinet paint.
Congrats! It’s an awesome sprayer! Gallery is the paint I use for cabinets! I actually have a video of us testing it out using the quick shop and I find a good system to get a great finished product
Exactly, who knows.
I know you like the gun so far but remember the pump will probably go out. I got two graco hand helds with broken pumps. 😢
Yeah I went through a couple pumps and a cord on the handhelds. From what I understand Graco said the quick shot pump will last 600 gallons which is like triple what they said the handheld will last
really lack of power on pump, for small walls not bad that thats all
I don’t think I’d use it for painting walls, it could would but this sprayer is great for painting a cabinets / vanities especially in place when refinishing kitchen cabinets
I considered buying one until i saw the price…yikes
Yeah they’re a little pricy but to me, it was worth it. Great machine
@@DullenWoodworking at this price point not a DIY product
