- Initial thoughts on my new (to me) GMade GOM.
Running video mods;
10t 32p pinion
ISDT ESC70 esc
Flysky GT5 radio
RCLions aluminum 2.2" beadlocks
DIY metal steering link
30 shock fluid
I like my GOM a lot. I have 2.2 Ruptures, C.I. foams on alum beadlocks, 35T 550 surpass motor, HW 1080, Savox SW2210SG and have the 2-speed and dig operational. It is just amazing what i can do as a crawler/trail truck.
Nice, sounds like a sweet build
Pretty sweet rig something different. Thanks for sharing mate 👌👍
cool vid, my friend! big like! 👍👍👍
Thank you! Cheers!
It sure looks cool!
I think so too, cant wait to get the interior in it. Just got the aluminum links and a larger motor so more vids coming soon.
Hey what is it like for reliabilty and maily for rock crawling or do you think a gatekeeper would be better for rock crawler
I think for the money, I’d go Gatekeeper. I haven’t had any issues because I only used mine a few times but I see that some guys have problems with the CV axles snapping pins. Parts are harder to get for these too.
@@rcilluminati26 thank you
Are those just standard shelf hangers you're using to hold your buggies on the wall what length did you buy
Yes, the heavy duty ones from Home Depot. the 12" seems to fit just about everything.
The GOM was hot garbage. I bought one and assembled, when it first hit the market. It was sold immediately afterward. It was a 2 speed and they were so close ratio it was useless.
I think it really depends on what you use it for. Its def no rock bouncer. Mines locked in high gear and it seems about right with a 10 tooth for crawling. I think it can be good with some mods but I'm not going to go too crazy.
I got it for $120 so cant complain. I def dont see how they get $400 for these
how do u get it for 120
