Axial Capra VS GMade R1 1/10th Scale RC Rock Crawler Buggys

- Axial Capra and GMade R1 1/10th scale rc rock crawlers out on the rocks today. This is in no way a fair reflection of how they can perform it's just a bit of fun. The Capra is far from stock and the R1 is fairly stock with just 4WS and forward battery mount and flat skid.
Went back to the new spot with David and his GMade R1 to see how they both got on. The R1 definetly struggled with grip the Flat Irons just didn't seem to have much bite but it is a light rig whereas the Capra is fairly chunky with brass lumps all over it.

Really cool! I've got a R1 that I plan to build. It's a much older rig, but I think it still looks cool and would be a fun build.

Cool video, I've just got a R1, Running it on the stock esc and tyres & 1300mah lipo in the back, Done the rear wheel steering. Does the 1080 esc make much difference to the low down speed.

BRISTOL RC CRAWLERS Amen on the skid. My only complaint left about the rig but any skid gets hung up at times with so much axle clearance and our lowering of ride height from stock. Thanks for the reply

Another great spot mate, absolutely not contest that the Capra won that. I’ll be honest I think my boys TRX4 sport might have beat that R1! Sweet video dude 👍🏻
Different tyres and a bit of weight and that GMade will do well I think. TRX6 still pulled lines those 2 couldn't though.
The g made had terrible geometry but it did look awesome!
