Voting and Counting: Voting and vote counting are done through an electronic system, ensuring speed and accuracy in the electoral process.
Electronic Ballot Boxes: Electronic ballot boxes are used in all polling stations in the country. They register and count votes securely and efficiently.
Supervision and Auditing: The TSE establishes rigorous supervision and auditing procedures to ensure the integrity of the system. This includes verifying the software used and conducting public security tests.
Digital Signature and Sealing: Before elections, the systems are digitally signed and sealed in public ceremonies, ensuring that there are no changes to the programs after verification.
Ballot Box Bulletin (BU): After voting closes, each ballot box generates a Ballot Box Bulletin, which is a digital or printed document containing the results of that polling station.
These measures aim to ensure the transparency, security and reliability of the electoral process in Brazil.
