I refused to re badge initially, I was in Minden attached to the Royal Signal Corps and managed to wear my old badge and brown beret until someone noticed a few months later...23 Pioneer Regiment Forever!!! 1986-2010
I had the honour of being on Cap Badge change in 1965, from RASC to RCT and RAOC all those years ago also some units of the Royal Engineer changed to RCT that same month and year. some of the RE soldiers took the mick and said RASC stood for Run Away Some ones Coming LOL but that's how the Army functioned then taking the micky out of each other. The RN used to say where the Army goes the Pongo's some older RN will get that jibe.
A fantastic brief review of the Royal Logistic corps, I am proud to say I was part of its history for 22 years.
I only did 11 years including JL.
Happy Birthday RLC. Your work is great both in humanitarian and combat environment. Best regards from your Greek counter parts.

Ι am sure of it. It is the most important and demanding job in the military.
