I bought one recently because it turned up localy and I needed a car, it was conveinient, I wasnt looking for a Cube. Now that Ive had it for a while I really like it, theres loads of room in the back, the rear seats slide forward, fold forward, and recline so it plently practical enough for chucking stuff in the back of. Its nice to drive, and I dont really care what it looks like, id rather have a practical Box than a swoopy wedge. I love the way it polarises opinion. People either love it or have it, but they usualy have to say something the first time they see it.
Getting in and out is great - unlike trying to extract yourself from a Mini - you have tons of headroom, passengers never feel cramped (lots of legroom in the back), and a turning radius much like the Mini (18 feet I think - it's insanely tight) without the death-trap profile (even though it's only a foot longer bumper-to-bumper). Has a highway millage close to a Toyota Hybrid, and a cargo capacity of a small SUV (over 55cuft). It's a great in-town car and is insanely easy to snag parking with. I love it.

Id still buy one over the equivalent Nissan Note, despite the difficulty and cost in getting certain parts, and every so often someone will look at you like you've got your head on upside down. Its a practical, comfortable, unusual daily. Anything else youd like to know?

This car is a better car than being told with a video. It is a very popular car in Japan and I also have it. My car has a higher grade and contents are better now.

Aftermath was lots of Bb/Xbs became almost handovers for sale, I was one of those sellers. And I get it, cuz every time I see a cube it's like seeing a Bunny. Likeable, harmless, not offensive, no one talks shit of it.
I think I've only seen a handful of this on North California roads...ever. If you're a collector of quirky car oddities, pick one right now while they're dirt cheap.
I have the same car, It is awesome no problems at all 140 000 miles runs like new. I flush all the fluids, change all filters, changed all spark plugs and spark plug wires. Ceramic brake pads. Go to a great mechanic and have them do a 3 step fuel fuel injection cleaning service. Make sure they use BG products. It gets rid of all carbon build up The car roars now. Also use royal purple engine oil it is better then mobil 1 one oil. It drives like a race car now!!!! Also use Trico Titan wipers they work the best. I also change the serpentine belt every 80 000 miles just to be safe and i use royal purple oil filter great quality!
I bought a cube for $4k two and a half years ago now and love it. It handles very well, look up the cube moose test. The interior is super groovy especial the dashboard and ceiling. I have an led kit under the seats and it looks great.
I would've assumed the horrid side-hinged rear door would've been a negative point. Considering this car is made for city life and there's no way you can access the boot through that in a parallel parking space.

It's a shame they stopped selling this in the states. After the initial "newness" wore off, sales tanked. The Kia Soul basically ate it for lunch. That said? I do miss the little thing. I always told myself that if I ever got one I would paint it to look like a Borg cube.
There was also a production interrupt with the earthquake. That kind of killed the import schedule. Too bad. I've yet to find anything comparable. Not the Kia, and certainly not the Fiat 500.
B Lowe Go to Japan because it is still on sale because space is at a premium The reason why Nissan pulled the plug for the Cube in the UK and USA was because the Citroen c3 Picasso and the Kia Soul were outselling it by miles. So Nissan probably won't make a 4th generation and sell it in the UK/USA
funny how car critics can give a negative review on a car they only drove a few times. try driving on the shitty roads in Southeastern USA in a Mini Cooper for 3-4 years and then drive a Cube for a month.... you would gladly sell the Mini and drive the Cube for the rest of your life... trust me
The weird thing is, people hate this car together with Juke even if the both of them are quite good. I know that people love or hate the design of the Juke but what's wrong with a box shaped car. I have yet to ride in one of these cars but I think their good especially with their Japanese origins.
I love both the newer and the older Cube but On appearances only the Gen 2- Z11 Vs Gen 3 Z12 Comparing the 2 cars the Z12 is like an Ice cube that's started to Melt and become less sharp , more curvy & less retro and compared to many other MPVs like the Fiat 500L , the Kia Soul etc Where is the Z11 still has its edges and more boxy and like an Ice cube before it started to melt surely the Z11 is the Coolest Cube out of the 2 ?
Citroen always had high standards. There're the pioneers in hydraulic suspensions and do make very pleasant cars to drive. But all of their cars look funky. You just got to embrace it.
They were once some kind of pioneer but today's standards are recycled 20 year old window switches, cheap crappy plastics and multiple attempts to reinvent ideas but making them worse in the process
If you drive one of these things you won’t be able to “socialise”with people as u will probably end up with nobody who cares for you or loves up you after you buy this “car”

Kia with their 2.0 4 cylinder AUTOMATIC transmission is 10 times more reliable than the Nissan cube will ever be with the garbage CVT transmission.
