- Dr. Drew Pinsky tells NewsNation’s “On Balance with Leland Vittert" it's unfair to speculatively diagnose President Joe Biden, though it is reasonable to discuss the symptoms he displays. Pinsky also said Biden shows symptoms of Parkinson's, such as motoric slowing and mumbling while speaking, though he would not go so far as to diagnose him with the disease.

During the pandemic many Americans were required to take the COVID vaccination or lose their jobs. I took the vaccine. Many Americans didn't and lost their jobs. Joe Biden refuses to take a cognitive test. A test that is far less invasive than a mRNA vaccine. Of course people are speculating but they are doing so in large part because of the lack of transparency and the tremendous amount of circumstantial evidence that he has cognitive issues. If I had to get a vaccine just to remain employed than The President of the United States should be required to take a cogency test or risk his job also.

Dfirth, if you watched the debate you would clearly know that your statement is completely untrue. When Biden said we beat Medicare Trump immediately said you bet you beat Medicare you beat it to death it showed that he is mentally acute and aware.
A critical care RN of 40 yrs. Dr Drew is correct…the only symptom that we haven’t seen is tremors but there is medication that can reduce or resolve tremors for a few hours
There is a type of Parkinson disease that does not involve tremors - I knew a man who died of Parkinson's and never had tremors

My mom had lewy body dementia. her neurologist told me was a flip side of Parkinson. Dementia comes first then the Parkinson.

@stephanieknowles7586 Parkinsonism can be signs of Parkinson without actually having it. My husband had shakes and slight dementia from a stroke he had. Biden had 2 brain issues and just like my husband's neurologist told me Tom had symptoms of Parkinson but it wasn't Parkinson, came from his stroke. Biden had 2 brain bleeds, which would give him symptoms of dementia but as you get older it gets worse because of age.
You can have PD and no cognitive symptoms.

My grandfather had DEMENTIA- he was exactly the same as Biden - it really upsets me to watch the news. Poor man.

I’m certainly not a doctor, but my late husband had Parkinson’s and I can certainly recognize the signs! Medication can abate the trembling but in my husbands case, caused other issues I.e. Hallucinations

I have been seeing Parkinson's symptoms for some time now -- the freeze, the stance, the stare, the walk, possible hallucinations, etc.
He literally looks like he’s having hallucinations on stage when he walks and then jumps and stops suddenly like he’s seen a monster or something!

50% of people with Parkinson's do not have tremor..
According to American Parkinson Disease Association only about 25% of people with PD do NOT have tremor, 75% of them do.
My dad had Parkinsons. Apart from the tremors there is stiffness in the body and loss of balance. Mentally Pops had a clearer mind, spoke better than biden in later years. Doc took away his driving privileges though...

A Neurologist who watched the debate and other Biden videos said on National TV channel, News Nation said Biden has Parkinson’s as well as Alzheimer’s. All the symptoms are, blank stare into the distance with no one in the house look, frozen in time like a wax dummy, mental confusion, memory loss, rambling, soft hoarse voice, losing train of thoughts, fingers and hand locking and motionless like a robot that ran out of battery. Those symptoms will get worse and Biden will be in a wheel chair within the year and he will be a vegetable in less than 2 years. Biden must be forced down. He’s a danger to this country and to Democratic Party.
I think more specifically Lewy body dementia, which can cause intermittent confusion mixed with period lucidity. I appreciate Dr. Drew’s candor and insight because some doctors refuse to touch it with a ten foot pole and dance around the subject.

My father in law had Parkinson’s he had the stiff gait..trouble walking and soft voice changes…there was nothing wrong with his mind or cognitive ability.

KJP tried to explain the visits by the doctor who specializes in treating Parkinson’s disease as monthly meetings with other health care professionals, and that just doesn’t wash. I realize that in the United States we have HIPPA, which protects the doctor-patient relationship. However, when the patient is the president of the United States, the good of the country must outweigh the need for confidentiality. The American people must be told the truth, and the 25th Amendment must be invoked.

My mom had Parkinson’s Disease for 22 years and lost her battle 6 years ago. I see a lot of the issues in Biden that my mom had. If he’s taking Requip, Senimet, or carbo/levo you won’t see the tremors as much, but eventually those meds stop working. It’s a horrible disease that I don’t wish on anyone.

I redid my Google search a few different ways but apparently never in a way that I got an answer. I’m curious. What does holding a pen (or something) have to do with his condition ? Or holding it a certain way? What does holding a writing pen have to do with anything? I’d like to know since I was unable to find the answer myself.

The lack of memory, saying hello or talking to two dead people, making up words when he doesn't remember the real ones, shuffling, blank stare, not being able to put sentences together, physical difficulty,Sundowners, slurring and mumbling. I did new patient intake in Hospice care and, Dr Dx would be first, this man exhibits an overload of symptoms of Dementia/Alzheimers. Obviously, we'll never see his brain scans or, God forbid, hear a non partial Specialist speak about him. The serious serious problem, to me, is the lack of memory. Day to day and on, he's losing it. Republicans saw this over 4 years ago, but it was a conspiracy, right? I PRAY, for once, Dems get what they deserve. This man should never have been elected, and keep him in the race.

My Mother had Parkinson’s and in my opinion he’s demonstrating lots of those symptoms. It’s a movement disorder. Not a shaking disease. Everyone is different. But he sure looks like it to me.
