You would think that, and still i did NOT expland myself. First in campagn 6 or 7 i figure out each city can only have 4 sectors aswell lol. I thought it was just a population problem making so i couldn go futher. So things are not that clear even tho it show you that you can expand. I only hade 2 cities in my first 4 campagnes. I then found out it went alot faster and easier to win by just spamming cities like a mad man later tho. The Ai just cant keep up.
Thanks for the help! I failed my first run but got close to victory. I watched this video and followed your tips, I allied with 2 other factions and held off war until I had all my colonies protected by an army, and also waited until I had the apocalyptic weaponry fully upgraded. Immediately I declared war against my allies rivals and smacked them with the max tier Omega virus by wave 80, then invaded their lands with my powerful offensive armies that I had built up and swept them out. There was one last guy remaining but I couldn't find his base so me and my ally just waited out the rest of the turns and it ended in victory.
Should be titled: 10 tips if you are lazy to play the tutorial. Or 10 tips for total newbs of the 4x genre. Or 10 tips from cptn obvious. Current title just misleads. Tips are trivialities for the vast majority of those playing the game and there is literally 0 info in here not covered by the tutorials. Sad.

@@Demiurge13 have you ever played Xcom? AoW Planetfall's combat is basically an Xcom clone. Not the entire game, just the combat itself. Hell, the moves per turn, abilities which cost a certain amount of moves, the percent chance to hit, the way cover functions, proc chances for DOT, etc. are all practically ripped right from Xcom. That said tho, I like it. Xcom is one of my favorite game franchises.

Most tbs games like this function that way. Calling the combat in aow planetfall an x-com clone is saying every fps os a doom clone. or every action game is a god of war clone. It's a bit silly
@@Demiurge13 well the combat feels almost exactly the same to me. There are some minor differences, but they're quite honestly so miniscule that they can practically be disregarded. But I do get what your saying, the issue with it is however that many FPS games are very much unlike Doom, just like many action games are unlike God of War. But when I play Xcom and AoW Planetfall there are so many similarities in the combat that I believe it would be safe to say that the combat is an Xcom clone; unlike comparing Doom to other FPS games, Doom has some very distinct mechanics in it that are unlike other FPS games. Same with God of War and other action games. Again, not saying anything bad about AOW Planetfall as I do love Xcom style tactical games

I already tried. It's a catch 22 game and there's a reason people hate them. I dont have endless time and I'm not an expert/ptofessional. I'm sure it's easy if getting paid but to an average person this is unplayable. It's a diving simulator. Better diving simulators out there are with things to do that you can actually do. Subnautica, while really fun and potentially great, is ruined by the fact it has no respect for your time. Your average person doesn't want to spend hours only to hff ave that time wasted over and over and over. Maybe drop a clue here or there. But swimming around for hours at a time only to die with no clue? Was just pointless
